Description:
The elf looks very young. He's of average height and slimmer than most of his peers, yet rather athletic.
The right side of his neck is marked by a badly-healed wound, partially covered with his hair. One could easily notice a mischievous twinkle in his watchful eyes.
He suffers from conjunctivitis. Also, he often absent-mindedly rubs his wrists.
His outfit looks rugged and has definitely seen better days.

Personality:
The elf doesn't talk much. He's especially distrustful of strangers.
He likes to feast and drink, and doesn't spare a coin to relish those things.
He has a pragmatic attitude towards law, but respects it as long as it suits him.
Not very altruistic. He might help those who are in need, as long as there are no sacrifices associated with that.

History:
Laethan doesn't like talking about his past.
It is known he was born in Eversong. His father was a rather wealthy entrepreneur. Following his parents' will, as a youngling he became a trainee with the Silvermoon Blood Knights.
Soon after, his parents fell to the Scourge invasion of Quel'thalas. Laethan inherited a little fortune and abandoned his Paladin training before taking the oaths.
The wealth didn't last very long, as it wasn't easy to sustain himself in a war-torn land, where even food was scarce.
Soon after Laethan disappeared. The distant relatives he still had considered him dead. It is unknown what he has been up to for those few years he was missing.
Only recently he reemerged again in Silvermoon City. He's changed a lot and hardly anyone recognised him. He didn't intend to restore old bonds anyway.
Nowadays he's a mercenary fighting for coin.
