Villain of the Year Awards!

As we know, our Villain's provide us with alot of Roleplaying fun, through various insidious schemes and plans of world domination!

However, do we ever give them props for all the hard work? No!
So we intend to provide an award, first step... Putting a Villain forward as a "Candidate" with a little information so we may review just how evil they are and if they are worthy of that top spot.

So post here with your candidates and after a week or so we will create a voting poll for people to vote on who they feel is the most evil of the evil, and 2nd and 3rd place will get an honorable mention.

I am "Hoping" this may be included as an article in the scarlet, shall have to coordinate with Webbles on that, but if not it will exist purely in the forum.

So, start posting your candidates for;

Villain of the year!:

Bavragor (ooc name ploppy) a former dwarfen councilor,known for instigating hate against warlocks, mage's and any who use magics, Known to use his (former) councilor power to have innocent people sentenced for crimes they ether did not commit or forced to committing, and framing others (eg tyring to make the azura flame exiled from alliance by claiming an attempted assasination that was false)

So we have our first candidate.

Who else do we think deserves to be in the running?

I nominate you, Zackarus Xaviour aka the anti-social rider. Reasons being, ofcourse his anti social behaviour wich almost goes against the Councillors handbook of Yore. Also his evil laugh he does kinda gives away he is evil.. And he is never satisfied with accomplisments, he kinda takes the Ambition tenet too serious.  Also whenever I fucked up IC with Elgus, my char is scared to apoligise (comparible with Imperial officers and Darth vader) and hopes he doesn't get death gripped His constant gauntlet "clenching" is pretty intimidating aswell.

I vouch for Coppersocket. Few gnomes can only come close to the evils which Cppersocker has accomplished over the years.

Talk with people of the community and forum and I promise you that most people will know/have an opinion about Coppersockert, apart from the rest of the nomenees. Villians are suppose to stirr things up, make people feel and be a good reason for "the heroes" to step up against them. Being a villian is not about the evil laugh or menecing gaze. They are to either break the order or use the otder to their advantage. And from what I have tead here its pretty much Copper who only qualify.

Haven't seen Coppersocket for a good while now, whats the lass up to these days? I'd love to see him/her do something again.

The Legion warlock monologue..  Who both enjoys causeing suffering and dramatic theatre like introductions,  

He in the last two encounters we've had with him has managed to nearly summon an army of the Legion,  and also kidnapped Sebastian Hutchins and attempted to use both physical and mental torcher to try and brake him turning him into a monster and make him think his wife as an enemy. That guy even when Sebastian thought he'd come to the worsed of the horror during his capture,  used illusionists to make him endure watching his "wife " be brutaly torchered when he refused to break

Then when azapha and Charlie appear to attempt to save Sebastian,  we find monologue at the top of a tower,  who allows azapha to see the monster they had created of her husband and uses him as a way to try and provok fear and horror as a weapon against us

In short, a truely sinister guy.. Deserves a mention here

Right going to give this until monday, then creating the poll with the names listed for voting (Which will stay up for a week) then tally the results for our winner!

That'd be because of three reasons.

One, I don't roleplay anymore (aside from the rare occasions when I feel like it.)
Two, I don't really play this game anymore.
Three, Mineral is the head of Cogshield. As such, she's mainly out making sure the daily life of being a part of the Horde is as miserable as she can make it.

I didn't vouch for myself for strictly RP reasons, but for how the vocal group of the RP community seem to observe me.

But if we are to look further into it, villains don't need to be people who are "evil" within their own faction. How one treats the other can be just as "evil".

The bloody path that Cogshield has sown, particularly a few months a go- truly puts Cogshield in one of the best positions to be set as the most "evil". This is also further noted towards when one observes the complete difference in attitude when there has been WPVP, where members of Cogshield has physically and vocally provoked the Horde in the simple, yet incredibly self-destructive desire for combat.

To some Horde (and even some Alliance) RPers, We are the definition of evil.
(That might sound like self promoting, but they did all the promoting for us.)
Maybe not for strictly RP reasons, but you wanted the best RP villains this year. I say Cogshield has been the best villains to Roleplayers this year.

Since I'm unable to vouch for myself, I vouch for Siegmund.

Regardless of whether or not Mineral/Siegmund can be called villains, neither of you have really been active IC this year. Thus, I don't think Villain of the Year suits either of them.

I assumed the competition was about whose character has been most nefarious IC, not who has upset the most people OOC.

And you're the one to decide if the members of Cogshield are allowed to take their PVP shenanigans OOC or IC then, Webbles?

They're not mutually exclusive, despite that some would claim otherwise.

The beauty and the "curse" of roleplaying, is that you're allowed to freely choose whenever you want to roleplay (and how you want to roleplay), and nobody can truly say they're wrong in doing so. They may disagree with choices of people, but they cannot deny them the option of choice to do what they desire.

Regardless, it's all related. If you like that it is or not is another question entirely.

I don't care if you consider it IC or not, and I wasn't commenting on that.
