Dwarven Smith Looking For A Contract

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] is an Independent Smith who does not belong to a Guild or Organization as such.  He is always on the look out for new work and new contracts. So if you are a warrior who wants their dented helm fixing, or a paladin who wants their sword reforged, or a knight who wants to commission a new set of armour - right through to the captain of a mercenary guild who is looking to outfit an entire company, please contact me on this thread or in-game.

I would highly recommend you whisper Gerrond in-game and try out the Wardens of Azeroth. They do small scale RP like smiths and farming all the time. They also use arms and armour, so could probably pay you for stuff IC.

So I'm back on the server and have worked out a complete backstory for Fen, who has now reached max character and max smithing levels. I'm hoping to play a bit on this toon now and am looking for work.

Anyone interested in RPing smithing, or looking for a contract smith for their merc guilds, get in contact. I'm happy to actually make kit for anyone, but I'm more interested in RPing contracts (and am happy to hand wave the actual creation of kit and payment for it) - it is all about the RP.

Just letting you know that tonight at 9 server time, the weekly server-wide Council happens once more! You can introduce yourself during and state you are looking for further contracts, and perhaps anyone present can contact you afterwards. ^^

Anyone can show up there it's a comunity thing. Just show up and usually durring public announcements the crowd there can step up to the plate and introduce themselves / advertise / ask stuff and so on.

For the time UK i belive is one hour behind the server time. So basically servertime being 21.00 then the time in UK would be 20.00

A successful evening last night. After my shameless plug in front of the whole Council I managed to get offered a spot on the upcoming Trader's Market and a commission for a shield from a skeptical Wildhammer lord - who was much less skeptical after some fun RP in the pub.

I've worked out the required material components for the enchanted shield you ordered and have sent them through to you. As soon as you're ready, let me know and I'll get on with it... IC of course....

So, I am waiting on the following contacts to see if I can get a contract with them:

• Rolo, Spear of the Titans - I gave him a Truesteel helm which he was going to take to the Ninth Company to show them what I am capable of (Note: Mallucis has contacted me OOC to try and arrange a chat, so progress is being made there)
  
• Lord Drumnir of the House of Yore - I have crafted him a magnificent shield to match his hammer.  The shield is complete and we just need to meet up for me to hand it over to him.  If it meets his expectations then he has promised to consider me for a contract for some work for his house.
  
• Grey Greyhammer of Khaz Modan - I gave him a hammer which he was going to take to the Ironforge Senate to show.  He suggested I present myself to the Senate but IRL the timings of their meetings don't really work well for me.
  

Still waiting on my first official contract though!

If anyone else wishes to sign up the services of a dedicated and hardworking dwarven mastersmith, for individual patronage or for a contract for a military outfit them please contact me in game or on this thread.

Additionally, should anyone actually want any in-game smithing done then I'm more than happy to help out.  Though it feels like in 6.2.3 there is no actual point in any of the crafting skills as such as the kit simply isn't up to what you can get easily via PvP or PvE.

So last night I was (verbally) awarded a contract to supply the armies of Ironforge with arms and armour.  Nothing officially signed yet - that is due to happen next week - but it is my first major contract award.

I've picked up a few more commissions and completed some work, so I have updated my original post.

There are a few people out there who have promised me some work, so please get in contact either on this thread or in game - and let's set up some RP.  

Also, to all the people involved in the Red Reach Raiders attack last night, as I said at the time, please feel free to drop by and have your weapons or armour fixed up on the house.

I'll be at the Trade Fair at the Stormwind Docks tomorrow night if that is a convenient time for anyone to drop by and do some RP.

Time for an update (otherwise known as shameless self-advertising):

In recent weeks Fenodyree has continued to be offered work and complete adhoc contracts for various mercenary guilds and individuals.  I've crafted two small helms for the children of Patriarch Centax.  I've created and sold numerous Mithril items to various people.  I've been given a contract to outfit the entire Black Eagle Company.  And I have an ongoing contract to supply and maintain the arms and armour of the Ironforge armies, via the Senate there.

I've also recently signed up to become a member of the Blackwald Trading Union which has given me access to their resources for mining ores and for recruiting apprentices.  This was a necessary and very helpful move for Fen as it has allowed him to keep up with the increasing contracts he is seeing come his way.

I have gone on an Epic Quest to forge a new set of armour - dark iron chain with Mithril plates over the top, which involved travelling to Outland to learn the secrets of boiling fire, and a dangerous expedition into the depths of Blackrock Mountain.

So now, with the number of contracts I'm dealing with I think it is time I started looking for some apprentices.  I'm assuming that Fen is going to slowly start to employ a number of apprentices for his growing business, probably through the BTU, but I'm also thinking of actually taking on an IC apprentice.  

Would anyone be interested in taking such a role on IC?  If so post here or PM me.   I'll probably put up an advert on the 'In Character' section soon if I do decide to go down this route.
