[A] GTS - Gnomish Tactical Squad

The GTS is a section of the Gnomish Army. It is currently run by Pazzle Matterzap, a former S.A.F.E Commander who has been given another chance to redeem himself for a past crime.  Due to the lack of Gnome-RP, along with the other Gnome RP guilds that have come and gone, we are attempting to bring Gnome RP back and show others just how fun it can be. So far, we are in the basic start-up that guilds go through to get the guild up and running and I am glad to announce that the guild already has some very energetic and enthusiastic people already, ready to put Gnome RP back in the Clatternack-450 and go for another test run cause you know…we still can’t get the damn running. ( Heh, get it? No? Pfft. )


We are looking for any active Gnome-RPers that want to get involved in the RP. We allow newcomers to RP and also experienced RP’ers also. We try to make the guild as welcoming as possible and try to make your time with us enjoyable. So, if you want to show us what you can do, feel free to whisper myself or one of the officers. Although, if you plan to RP a..crazy evil Pyro Gnome, this probably isn't the place for you.



When I first made Pazzle, I wanted him to have something to do with the Gnomish Army. Being a Commander of S.A.F.E that got demoted for getting one of his allies killed, seemed like a very believable backstory (something I might post on the Forum for people to read). Before making this guild, I thought about ways I could bring it in without it being to…over the top. So, I just put it as Pazzle getting a second chance to get his old life back and allowing him to form a unit that he could work with to attain that goal aswell as help Gnomeregan to it's feet. . After doing some research online and obviously knowing for many reasons that claiming myself as a High Tinker was a BAD thing (Like calling yourself a Trade-Prince as a Goblin. Big-no-no). A found a very nice site and saw that Tinker General was pretty viable, although most Gnomes that work under Pazzle tend to just call him General. IC, Pazzle will state that his waiting for his “unit” to arrive, which suggests that any new people he is recruiting is coming from that unit.



For now, we are doing IC Interviews. You are free to poke myself or one of our officer’s in-game for through the forum post below and we’ll gladly give you an interview and welcome you to our ranks. All Gnomes are welcome, new or old alike. It’s really that simple.



Yes, it’s true on Defias that most Gnome RP guilds have come and gone. What I plan to do with my guild is keep it around other guilds and show others how fun it can be. Other guilds such as the Platoon, Shields etc. have brilliant leaders and I really want to be a part of that and contribute my guild to the RP such a cross-guild events and larger W-PVP events. However, our main focus will be on the RP, you will not be forced to PVP whatsoever.

Looks great! I've on/off made a Gnome but by the time I start RPing with them, the Gnome guild has died Some day my Mage may become a Gnome and join you!

Some advice for another small guild leader:

Don't expect your guild to be huge or active; be happy with the small core members you get.
Start a separate OOC channel instead of guild chat, so that people who put alts in your guild can still participate in chat, dungeons and can easily be reminded of events.
Don't give up when people alt-hop, don't turn up to events and seem to be acting shitty. It's tough at times but if you love your character and your guild concept, keep at it. Being a guild leader is hard and people have very little empathy towards you and all the time and hard work you will put in, but they'll be sad when you're gone!
