All those soliders who are situated in Blastedlands, to Fight in coming war against Iron Horde are invited to Surwich to celebrate the Hallow's end. Party will be relaxed and laid back with some, fun food and drinks. Best costume and scary story will be given a prize.

Event will take place Friday 31st at 8pm in Surwich. All alliance races welcome.

ooc: People can also bring with them rp food and drinks as some barrels have long reset time.
would love to see some people actually use those hallowend masks or costumes, but feel free to feel creative.
Group danceing is also possible. It happens so we form a circle and emote dance, facing circle center. I will post here a link about music.
Other fun and games up too, if people intrested.

EDITED the location

Isn't Nethergarde Keep destroyed and in the hands of the Iron Horde?

Yup. It is. This event isn't really well thought out at all.

Also, even if Nethergarde wasn't a ruin, it's still an active war zone. Not the place you want to host casual parties.

Heh, yes, even i admit that the location and time of the Hallow's End party may be a bit out-of-place.

However, i have decided to react to it In Character: shake my head in disbelief with an enforced perspective that some Humans have no real clue what "War" is, even if their attempt to raise morale is noted.

Should Inran meet the event host in the warzone before the event, she may want to take them aside and have a few selected words.

To be fair, there is a huge difference between Christmas and Halloween

This isn't WW1. The orcs don't have the same compatriotism with Stormwind as French and German soldiers in WW1.

Host it on the left-hand-side Alliance ship off-shore, imo. (The right one, to my knowledge, is in use.) It could be a good opportunity to DM an attack, too; I'd love to see twenty soldiers in costume trying to fight off a Rylak and orcs.

Here's the dance list. Jenny plucks pears is the first and possibly last dance. If people want to dance more, with actual pattern, we can do that with other dances. I will tell what to do ic.

Surwich is also a warzone, and currently being used as a base of operations after it was attacked ICly. If you're going to hold a Halloween Party in the middle of a war (though I'd suggest otherwise) Feral's suggestion of one of the ships makes more sense.. It's probably the only place out of the range of the enemy, and your guests won't likely get butchered.

Why do you want to hold it in Blasted Lands anyway? Logically?

Edit: Also, no one is telling you not to hold it. It's just that your choices in location are questionable.

Well... Many of you have already gone to Blasted lands, so thought to take some seasonal fun to you. It is bit contradictory to host something fun at the war zone, but even armies have some entertainment on the road.

I heard Surwich would be ok, but guess it's not... Ships are on the otherhand so close the keep...but I guess those are the most logical AND safe place to hold it at Blasted Lands. Besides I would like to see as many alliance races having fun together, not just humans and Stormwind guilds.

Basicly I am bit torn if I should move it to Stormwind or hold it at the ship.
(the left-hand-side Alliance ship off-shore, that Feral / Blackfall suggested). We could see nice pirate costumes, but I fear space might be a bit tight.

uh....I hope it's ok, if we have the party at square near Slaughtered Lamb's at mage district. And sorry for all the mess.

I don't think the Lamb would have an issue with a party nearby - if it's an issue of "but i dont own their bar", just buy drinks from the npc and don't make an ownership claim?  I mean more Rp for them, as long as you're not breaking into the basement then yay.

Regardless, I'll try to show up but I might be running around outside staring at irl Halloween stuff so...Might be a latecomer.

edit: aaa I have to be around to dispense the candy so I likely won't make it - good luck with things OP.

Armies can have entertainment along the road, especially if the conflict drags on for long. Tactically speaking however, the fight is to intense and from an In Character standpoint so important (to my character) that Wild Tempest will unfortunately have to keep out of the celebration.

Still i do appreciate the initiative and the bother of people to go and organize events for the fun of others. It may just have not been the best moment in Azeroth for it.

I completely understand that you mean well, and fret not. Nobody thinks badly for you trying to create some fun rp. I am an officer in Slaughtered Lamb. Holding a party outside and buying drinks from the Slaughtered Lamb shouldn't be a problem at all. Razz It's free rp.
