Closing time.

Heya, after erp-... discussing it with Ezzy. We decided to call it quits or "breaks" on the tavern. We're not saying goodbye forever but just for now. Reason for this is we don't really have too much time to run the tavern, at least not at nighttime, due to work and such. And not that many people visit the tavern these days anymore. And to be honest, after five months of running the tavern, serving drinks gets kind of boring, or maybe i've just gotten bored with my own character, who the heck knows.

I would just like to say thank you everyone who made the tavern so enjoyable, we couldn't have made it past the first day if it weren't for you. The tavern lived only because of you, and it was made for you aswell. I never thought we'd have so many wonderfull people as working staff, nor that people would be even visiting the tavern as much as they did. So thank you!

I suppose i could tell the story how the tavern actually "began".

I was drunk... I made a bet with Raolin (or rather i just told him we'd have a bet all of the sudden). The bet was, would people show up, if a random level 1 alt (Guldujenu) sent everyone a mail about some meeting in a random location, like Ratchet?

When i slightly sobered up, i thought of the tavern in Silvermoon City. It was nice, but a bar aint supposed to be so posh! Taverns are dirty, and shady! So instead of telling people to meet up at place i bought a bunch of drinks and decided to start the bar. So the point is, not all decisions while you are drunk are bad!

Also, we're having our "Last Night event" on the 23th of this month (Sunday), starting at 20.00 gametime. There's going to be fireworks, lots of sausages and free booze! Every roleplayer out there is welcome to join, even alliance, aslong as you all remember. No fighting IN the tavern. And would appreciate no fighting outside either, go to the docks if you want to wrestle! I'll even give you an oily eel to play with.

It was good as long as it lasted! Toast for all the fun times as a patron and bouncer.

I have an entrance exam on the next day so I'm not sure, if I get to attend the closing party... I will if I possibly can though!

Hmmm... a shame! Darn shame indeed. But I suppose that's fair enough then. The Broken keel will be missed!

It is with a great grief in my heart I take part in the decision to take a break. Both me and Guldu work nowadays, and we're both a little tired of serving drinks.
It has been a fantastic run while it lasted, and we hope to come back stronger when the time is more right. It's just a bit hard to commit to run a tavern during the evenings when you sometimes work nights, and other times have to get up in the early dawn.

I would like to send a very very warm thanks to all those who have helped us keep the place alive, and those who have given the Tavern the warm and wonderful atmosphere it has had.
I will not name individuals nor guilds here, for there are so many of you, and I would hate to forget any of you. You know who you are. And I thank you. From the bottom of my heart.

Guldu/Ezzy's tavern has given me so many wonderful moments, so many laughs and also some tears. (Yes, I am very emotional *Blushes* ) It's a shame to see it wither into the nothingness, but as it is now, none of us can fully commit to the responsibility it is to take care of the place. Ezzy will still be around from time to time though, so do not hesitate to poke me for some RP

I will miss you all so very very much, but I hope to see you when the tavern re-opens, after Guldu and Ezzy have paid down their depts to the Gobbos. ^^

Unfortunately, I am beyond drunk and emotional right now, so this post has become far more lengthy and ranting and random than I had hoped it to be, but they say children and drunks never lie, so I'll just settle with that.

While still in Orcs of the Red Blade, I could 'hold' the business until you want it back when I'm not at work or RPing with any guilds, perhaps some other people like minded would do the same?

My account got hacked aswell, but thats not the reason i'm quitting, not at all. Not sure if i can be arsed to get it back. (So Ezzy kick Guldu)

Why i think the quitting will stick this time is because the reason im quitting now is the reason i always returned back to playing. Things change to put it short.

Keeping it short, will miss most of you. Those that i don't miss... LOL FU
