Description: This grandmother, though unmistakingly old, has remained remarkably fit for her age. She's spry, muscular and combat-ready.
Personality: Hildis is a no-nonsense, down-to-earth kind of lass. Maternal, humble and kind, she will back away from nothing to protect her loved ones; the only one who is allowed to insult her husband and her (grand)children is herself. She is very honest and loyal and does not mince her words; she tends to speak her mind freely. She can be a great friend, yet a terrible foe when crossed; hell hath no fury like a grandmother scorned. She doesn't care much for glory or esteem; she's mostly a selfless woman for whom the needs of her family are more important than her own.
History: Hildis married into the Ironstove clan at a young age and has spend the better part of her life taking care of the household, mothering many children and later taking care of their grandchildren. Yet, the war has taken many of her children and grandchildren, and now that Angus has gotten too fat and lazy to take up arms and his pension is running dry, it's up to Hildis herself to take up her husband's armor and earn the gold necessary to feed the family.
