Family: Amelia was born into foster care, unaware of her actual parents. She felt as if she had done wrong in the world and that is why she was left by her parents. Amelia was adopted by a human couple, Marie and Bruce Johnstone. The two of them owned a small farm in Eastvale Logging Camp, in Elwynn Forest. Amelia helped around the farm, sheering sheep, planting seeds and tending to the dogs. She felt a lot of love from her human parents.. still clueless as to who her real parents were. Eventually as she came of age, her human parents, and the ones she considers to be her only parents informed her of her actual name, Amari Riversong. Amelia did not want any connection with the family who left her, therefore she chose to live on as Amelia Lily Johnstone.

When Amelia joined the Regiment she was quite the rowdy character. She tried to make friends with the other girls and coax them into coming to parties and getting drunk. Bianca was one of Amelia's friends in the Regiment and they used to talk about cats, dogs and other animals, alike the ones Amelia tended to on her parents farm. - Salia Shadowsong
Upon meeting Amelia, Salia said "Oh.. a Magi that isn't an arsehole." Amelia found this rather funny and laughed about it with Salia. Amelia started to walk past Salia's building each day to talk with her for a small while until they became quite good friends. - Eldiros Almadros
Amelia has a lot of respect for the Archmage. She feels that he can teach her more in the ways of the mage. She also believes that he is an exceptionally strong human being and she wants to be just like him.. wise, powerful and respected. - Lexi Costigan
Lexi was Amelia's old apprentice. Amelia helped Lexi to train and master the ways of the Arcane. Soon Lexi went rogue and started to learn the ways of shadow and fel. Amelia tried to end her existance but Lexi had grown in strength, almost to the point of being stronger than the Archmage herself.

Amelia is rather good looking. Her fair complexion compliments her white hair and candescent green eyes. Her slender pink lips would hide a pearly white smile, seemingly always sitting upon her face, and reside quite close to her petite nose. Her chalky white hair would fall down her back in minuscule curls, just passing her shoulders. She would have a rather slender body, her female features of average size.- Attire:

Amelia is often seen wearing her blue attire, it consists of enchanted shoulderpads that glow with arcane energy. Her trusted longsword that she keeps with her at all time, Marianak, which is enchanted with spellbinding forces. She also wears a hood with arcane symbols weaved around the trim, showing off some sort of importance.
Amelia is seen to wear her purple Kirin'tor attire when she attends council meetings, being a representative from Dalaran. She also wears a golden Kirin'tor broach which is mounted upon her Kirin'tor tabard. At all times she has a frail golden locket hanging from her neck, along with a small violet crystal, symbolising her allegiance with the Ordo Arcana.

Amelia is a rather serious person but she is very outgoing too. She always likes to get the job done and impress those around her to earn both respect and power.

- History:
Amelia knows nothing of her past, at least nothing before her being the age of ten years old. When Amelia was born her biological parents left her on the doorstep of a house. Amelia eventually started to scream and cry, awaking the residents of the house whom opened the door and took her in for warmth and food. The man was called Bruce, he spoke in a strong northern accent, and the woman Marie hardly spoke at all. The last thing Amelia remembers is calling Bruce and Marie her parents, they would take her on as their own, and raise her on the farm, making sure she was never short of food or a place to sleep. Amelia took a fondness to her father Bruce, she always loved to help him around the farm tending to the animals. This would probably be the cause of Amelia's love of animals today. During her childhood she was treat well, she always felt loves and cherished and she never had any complaints. She was also told her real name, Amiri Riversong. Amelia wanted no association with the parents that left her for dead and carries on with her human name.
One day a gang of thieves came onto the farm, Bruce was working in the barn, and Marie cooking some pies. Amelia was sat in the middle of the farm, petting the dogs and sheep. The thieves sprung on Amelia trying to take her down and kill her. The dogs started to bark in a chorus of extreme distress and Bruce came running out of the Barn, charging towards the thieves, in hopes of protecting Amelia. Amelia closed her eyes, muttered a few words and boom! A huge explosion of Arcane energy circled around her, knocking all the thieves back away from her. At this point she told Bruce to go back to the barn, "You might not like what you are going to see." Amelia charged up several fireballs and incinerated each and every last one of them.
After this event, Amelia was sent to Dalaran by Bruce and Marie, they were quite fearful but also amazed by her power, being only a twenty-three year old. There she was trained under many magi, one after the other they gave up on Amelia, stating that they could teach her nothing, also added the fact that Amelia was rather stubborn to learn. Amelia was eventually reassigned under the wing of Lady Jaina Proudmoore (totally not being a loller noob, just hear me out!) Amelia began to respect Jaina and the power she had at such a young age. Jaina turned Amelia around and trained her, putting her out on battlefields and enhancing her skills. Amelia helped in two war campaigns and sever other conflicts, she quickly became recognised for her feats of strength and power, as well as wisdom and knowledge. She was rather ruthless on the battlefield, protecting her allies with her own life. This is what the Kirin'tor liked.. they gave Amelia recognition for these deeds, awarding her the highest honor any Magi can receive, the title of Archmage.
Now Amelia is held highly in Dalaran, an instructor herself in Dalaran, teaching those whom were once like her to master the ways of the arcane. She resides in Dalaran now, still contacting her family a lot. She takes pride in teaching students of the arcane and also takes pride in working under Archmage Almadros, someone she always looked highly upon due to his work. she now teaches for his order too, as well as acts as a council representative for Dalaran in Stormwind.

She was held as a prisoner of war during a campaign. Its safe to say the people who captured her were unaware of how much a hothead she was and quickly met their fiery demise.

So she is the main Ambassador and Representative of Dalaran the Kirin-Tor? That is a bit... huge to claim, don't you think? I know you like to play strong and powerful chars, but that is a bit huge to take a role like that, and to force everyone who RP as a Kirin-Tor member to obey to your every whim.
And archmage at that age? She is not even an adult yet.

So you're an archmage... While not even recognized as an adult by high elves, who make up a good portion of the population in Dalaran. AND you're a master cryomancer AND an archmage AND and an ambassador.

It's cool that you want to roleplay a person with power and status, but at least make it believable in terms of lore.

Well thanks for your insight, my lore knowledge isn't really up to scratch so I appreciate it.

This is correct if you follow the RPG books, which are non-canon. The official lore is however different.She is not even an adult yet.

^ Sylvanas' leader story includes a flashback of her getting ready for the day, which states 'she had not yet seen her twentieth autumn.' This puts her somewhere in her teens during the flashback.[8]
^ Valeera Sanguinar is referred to as young by multiple sources, including Varian. She also lost her parents when she was child. Given the Warcraft time line, she'd be in her early/mid twenties as an adult.[9]
^ Tarenar Sunstrike sneaked into the Ghostlands to kill undead in his youth; that zone claimed its present name 7 years before Cataclysm.[10]
Elves age physically at the same pace as Humans, and upon becoming 'mature' their aging process slows down (If I remember correctly Lor'Themar is 3000 years old or so, and isn't exactly feeble yet.)
It is however correct that this age is considered 'young' amongst the Blood Elves, but there's nothing in the way of one becoming an Archmage. To put it one way, it's not exactly like races with a longer life span have learning difficulties, or issues with memorizing knowledge, and if a Human can become an Archmage long before this age, why can't a Blood Elf? There's also a limit to how much one can learn, or at very least the learning curve slows down considerably after a while, as there is less left to learn, and you'll have to explore the arcane more on your own. You will obtain more experience with age, but as long as you show ability and knowledge there's nothing in the way of you becoming a powerful Archmage, or a leader for that sake, we already have plenty of examples of this in the lore.
I agree with the rest of the comments though, and remember, a character is best defined by both her ablities and shortcomings. You might find that an overly powerful character can become dull to play and quite plain, flaws can spice it up.

And Blizzlore is an idiot. Example being the ages of Illidan, Malfurion and Tyrande. Night elves are meant to be 'adult' at 300, yet the book puts them at 'several decades old' at the Sundering 10,000 years ago... and yet they're described varyingly as ~10, 12, and 15k years old. >.>
