Catacombs of the Silverlight

Inside these ancient ruins lies many hidden passages to forgotten family of the Silverlights. These catacombs lies in the eastern plaguelands were no man dares to step. The catacombs themselves are said to be cursed with shadow magic so that anyone that enters the tombs without the amulet of the Phoenix they will grow old, their bones will wither into dust before being blown away by the chill breeze in the tombs.

If you wish to enter the tombs you will need the Amulet of the Phoenix, however it is not simple to get this item, it is said to be under the protection of a Shadow, a Shadow so dark it will feast on the souls of men itself just by looking at it wrong. When first entering the tombs the first thing you will notice is the complete and utter darkness, without the light there are no ways to see inside the tombs, this was made to ward off grave robbers, many spoke against this curse, they said it was a betrayal to the light to use such magic to guard Paladins graves, yet it was done.

Why would anyone enter such tombs you might ask? Because inside the tombs there are said to be hidden a source of power with a Paladin named Thorvald, a trinket so powerful it could battle the Ashbringer himself. What this trinket is has been lost by time however, no matter how much research you do there is only one way to find out, and that is to see for yourself.

However, even if you manage to get into the tombs things will not become easy, for there are creatures in each and every shadow, staring, waiting for the right moment to strike. Be warned stranger, do not enter the place without proper preparation, and stay out of the shadow. The shadows will be playing tricks on your mind, stay out of the shadow.

Here lies the Silverlight family.
They guarded the lands against the shadow,
now the shadow guards their corpses.
May what lies within these tombs be forgotten,
and their deeds forgiven.
