Description:

Sanara is of average height for a Draenei, with sleek horns that run backwards along her scalp that neither downplays nor exaggarates her height. Her skin is bright blue, appearing almost white in strong light, and her natural haircolour is a vibrant cyan, although it is occasionally dyed white or bright brown and almost always kept at a few inches below shoulder length. Like most Draenei she carries herself with an arced back and strongly defined posture which emphasizes her voluptuous curves, and walks with long, well-balanced steps.

She usually wears elegant and expensive clothes, often of Draenei or Elven make, and adorns herself with jewelry and perfumes. She is likely to carry magical artifacts and equipment directly on her person, such as talismans, totems and staves. Even without these, the air around her is alight with magical energy, both arcane and elemental, and sometimes it reflects in her skin or her eyes with a soft glimmer of energy in white or gold.

Personality:

She is strong-minded and independent, but has a fundamentalist belief that the union is stronger than the individual. As such she encourages all Draenei, including herself, to embrace eachother as an extended family despite any disagreements. Her propogations for the rights of the Broken and the Lost Ones have garnered her a reputation for being a troublemaker, and rightfully so, but also that she is an adamantly compassionate mother-figure for her people to the end. In person she speaks with a soft voice and moves with a slow and gentle grace, and like other Draenei has little regard for - or need of - personal space when with her family and close friends.

Her soft exterior hides a ferocious survivalist, capable of dismembering Orcs with her bare hands. With the devastating magical powers at her disposal she is more than capable of protecting herself or those she cares for, and rarely does she fight under any other circumstances, too weary of death and war already at her old age. Having lived such a long life with so many undertakings has left Sanara with many talents and abilities, practiced and outdated alike. To a degree, her extensive abilities and willingness to utilize them all leaves her unfocused at many times - her almost 'senile' behaviour one of the few hints at her advanced age.

History:

Sanara was born at the pinnacle of Argusian Eredar civilization in a small, peaceful town of Ver Ager, at the foot of the Mount Ageros for which it was named. Early in her life she was sent to the city of Kerannon and its Arcane Academy to study, proving herself a powerful sorceress and battle-mage, as well as a notoriously promiscuous troublemaker. She fled Argus during the exodus for unknown reasons, but was slow to adopt the new religion and culture that the Prophet Velen taught, clinging to the old ways which brought her so much joy and pain alike.

Eventually she came to accept it, shedding her past life of debauchery and egotism, and becoming a mother for the first time, having a daughter she named Iaris - by all accounts a woman her mother's equal in both beauty and eccentricities. She had two more daughters, Jaeleil and Kelara, and two sons, Kovos and Nuan by the time the Draenei arrived on the world they came to name Draenor. Once there, she bore a pair of twins she named Aysii and Vidii. With the exception of the twins, none of her children had the same father.

Things you may know about this character:

• Sanara is incredibly old, and tries not to show it, maintaining a youthful and energized demeanour.
  
• She has a reputation for sexual promiscuity, helped none by her habits of dressing provocatively and seeming to have no regard for 'personal space'.
  
• For the first few years after the Draenei's arrival on Azeroth, Sanara was a neutral arbitrator and ambassador for the Sha'tar, and spent a great deal of time cooperating with the Horde as well as the Alliance. In the wake of the renewed conflict in Northrend, however, she officially joined the side of the Alliance.
  
• She is today the Matriarch - religious leader - of the Ere Argus commune, as well as having a distinguished career fighting with the Alliance expeditionary forces in Northrend and various Twilight War hotspots.
  
• Sanara is known to put what she feels is the needs of her people and the greater good ahead of lawful behaviour, including instances of severe violence.
  

Things you may NOT know about this character:

• Her title, "The White Witch", was given to her by the Arakkoa of Terokkar Forest while she wandered the woods naked for decades after the destruction of Shattrath, glowing terocone spores affixing themselves to her skin and making her seem to glow white.
  
• Her birth-name is Anaraati, a name she threw away after she chose to flee Argus. She adopted the name "Sanara" - meaning "Gentle Flower" - to symbolize her rebirth from a creature of vice and selfishness to a follower of the Light. The name Anaraati means "Living Fire".
  
• A longtime lover from her past life, Navii, became Man'ari and has attempted to sway Sanara to join the Legion on many occasions. The last time this happened she approached Sanara in a dream, causing her to fall into a coma for nearly a year before being revived.
  
• One of her pregnancies ended in a traumatizing miscarriage. She's become extremely protective of her children, adopted and otherwise, ever since.
  

Criminal Record: Charged with second-degree murder (pardoned on basis of self-defense), convicted of assault and escaping detention (sentenced to a one-year exile from Stormwind and its territories, since expired)
