Hehe, I know the irony of the thread and the fact I had to drop it all, sadly RL took a chunk of my free time so couldn't lead the guild anymore...or get on wow much at all
Not sure if the guild is still up though, gave lead to someone else and said I would be leaving.
Barely stuck my head into DB to see how things are going but RL still takes a bite out of my time these days.

Bring back the Chapter and I'll personally help you in any way shape or form.

Would be fun to kick it back into gear, would need some people for it though, and I myself am still not reliable for steady RP at the time being.

I was part of the Chapter in the past, both in the Defias and after they moved, in Argent Dawn.
I know the guild, at this point, is inactive, but I'd sure be interested in getting something like this running.
Perhaps I can convince some of the few former interested members to move back here, given the interest the concept seems to be getting from the community.

(and perhaps some persuasion, as this server gave me the best WoW RP moments I had)

You may be better off taking the Anethion teachings and doing something new with them rather than just reviving the Chapter exactly how it was before.

I dont think that if the Chapter returns, it will be the same. It will be a rebirth.
But there are always steps. First, the interested people need to gather.
The guild lore is taken into account, and the state of the community. The people can then discuss between them what should and not be done. It's not just copying what it was, just because it worked.
But the spirit would be there, at least the way I see it.

I, myself, am very much tempted by this idea.

I'd also be in favor of working out an IC reason, explanation, for their absence, just to help with immersion.
For instance, with the AD side of things, ICly, the Chapter was shunned by the citizens and the government, in the end. Hunted down, imprisoned, many killed. The survivors scattered, without a leader. The perfect setting for someone or a group of people to gather them. And for the guild to try to brave a new path. To do what it never did before, while still being the Chapter everyone loved (to hate)

Yes, but there's no lore as to what happens for them to return. That's what I mean.

I don't know all about this, but whoever would be to start something again would get in touch with the people who do. With the websites where the lore is stored, ect. The important part is the will to put something to work. And the community's reception

Well, well.... Long time no see.

I have the character and interest for it, but cause of RL...I'm actually concidering simpy retiring from RP all together jumping back and forth on DB and AD and missing out on pretty much every event and chance to RP with the guild I am in on both AD and DB.

I do support the idea of starting up the Chapter on their "home" server though, they have the history there but aren't they still wanted?

Well, the group wants to make sure the Defias server is active enough for it to settle in again, for one.
We can't have zealots without witches to burn, sinners to torture/save, nobles to annoy into charity.
