The High Tinkmaster Tibble Tibbleston Tibbles is offering you a chance to prove yourself to the cult- academy of engineers that is Mechacorp.
So just what is Mechacorp, you ask while your eyes pry for information, aware that this poster is dragging you on to possibly no particular end and it may just be constant writing made by some sadistic gnome in charge of a group of other sadistic individuals.
Well!
Mechacorp is an academy of engineers willing to invest time, money, effort, money, time and possibly limbs for the good of science (and Gnomes!)
We are offering various places of interest and various positions of authority at this time!
Currently we lack the members to fill positions of:

This sounds like a good intiative, that could prospect quite some Roleplay in between you and Dwarves, since we could always use some cutting edge technology!
Additonally, would your character be interested in politics? He slams his fist on the desk before closing the logbook and sliding it away. A new-found look of determination washes over his face before he blows out the candle light and retires for the night.

For it's lack of presence at the Ironforge Senate meeting due to some technical difficulties and a possible radiation leak from top secret, highly classified destructive rad-bots.

High Elves are pinkskinned and are as close to humans as any other race can get, besides possibly a dwarf. High Elves would be allowed under normal circumstances, as they are not of the rainbow races.
