[H] Spiritual Enclave - discussion

Hello hello!

So it was stated in the Horde Gathering that took place in Orgrimmar 30.10.2013 that there will be formed a Spiritual Enclave, a sister group for the Arcane Enclave that will be reformed as well. It was decided that Rhonya Steelheart will be the one taking the reigns for now. And on a side note, I shall be her little helper on the matter.

So there are few matters I'd like to have some discussion about:

- What and why
- Who
- When and Where


What? Spirit Enclave would be a group of spiritual folk who deal with Wilds, Ancestral and Elemental matters. The more 'traditional and mystic' side of things. They would act as a spiritual council of advisors to solve more spiritual matters and offer guidance to those in need.

Why? As it was stated, there have been attempts to mix spiritualists into the Arcane Enclave as well but so far it hasn't been a great success. It was decided that a the spiritualists should have their own group because of this.

Who? WHO should attend then? This is not a decision based on your in game class but more of an IC matter. So if your character is a spiritualist or a mystic ICly (i.e. a shaman, witch doctor, druid, etc etc) you should be entitled to join the gatherings. If your character has wisdom over the Wilds, ancestral or elemental spirits, this is your thing. Also the enclave would be neutral. It wouldn't matter if you're ICly liked, exiled, at war with some other guild or group. This Enclave would be purely on spirits so leave the diplomatics to the door.

Do have some discussion on the users of Light and Chi, since I'm kinda lost with those.

When? There might be some regular meetings, for example every 2 or 3 months or so. We might also consider having ''emergency'' gatherings if a spiritual matter that rises needs immediate actions.

Where? Spirits are everywhere. Yeah, this is something that needs discussion as well. Do we want a certain own place to have these gatherings or do we want to just have them in a place that seems good at the time?

And of course BWC is invited. Emphasis on the word 'neutral'. Representatives are cool.

Oh, feedback, yes...

My feedback is to just set it up, invite the people, get some subjects to discuss and see how it develops from there!

That's a good question! And the answer to that is 'No.' It was stated in the meeting that we would not affiliate alliance into it and it was agreed upon.
But I suppose you never know what future brings and we'll just have to see how it forms out.

Yes! Still loving this idea, and while I'm indeed appointed to 'leading' it, Shargla already started these meetings up at the start of the rebellion, so I won't take her little baby from her We'll be working on this a bit together, but most of the credit still goes to her! *Claps*

As for the Alliance part, we said no about such, indeed. I think it would be a too much hassle due to language problems and whatnot to arrange everytime and have everyone together.

On a place.. Maybe we can just switch places a little, like the Arcane Conclave used to do, we can look up some nice spiritual places to meet since most are located elsewhere anyway! We can look through our fingers a little maybe with travel times etc.. Ssst!

Light and Chi, I don't really know, actually if they would fit... But we can indeed as Alph says, see how the first one goes and go on from there.

This brings me to that time in Ashenvale once when the tribe sat in a circle and then flew up to the air, dismounted and died. The circle of bodies was impressive. Though I enjoyed the 'spirit rp', was ingenious. That could be used sometimes.

With the kosh'arg in a few weeks, perhaps the throne of elemental in nagrand would be a good place to start?

BWC will be in Nagrand for their own reasons in a couple of weeks too. Could work out.

Actually there is a shaman moot held in Nagrand on 14.11. I will change it a bit since there is a plot going on that I will need the spiritualists help for. Perfect. I think I've given assist on that event for at least one person per guild around so they can invite peeps to it as they please. Will add Krogon there as well when I get home
