[OOC] [H+A] Victory!
Victory!

That is right! Victory! The campaign is finally over! Its been a long, crazy ride for us all on both sides of the faction line. Who would of thought after nearly ten months its over eh? Brutal battles, switches in loyaltys, deception, intrigue, sha, kor'kron, demons, dark shaman, a siege! ...a fallen warchief and a replacement.
Both factions can, in their own way claim victory from this. And I for one would like to thank you -all- for contributing to this enormous plot line over the past months. With the server taking to it in such a wonderful way proves that our servers future is certian, this campaign plot a testament to our ingenuity and story telling capability.
I'm going to take the time to thank a few people in particular who have made such amazing and important contributions to the success of both the 'Rebellion' and 'Lionheart' sides of this endeavour, without you it would of never of been possible.
Paozi - Without your clever shado'pan schemes and sha related knowledge both factions would of been left in the dark. You masterfully managed both sides and contributed a brilliant neutral stand-point to it all.
The shatterskull marauders - Among the First to take up arms against Hellscream openly, battling your way from feralas, to desolace, stonetlaon and beyond in the way only you guys know how! a big thanks to Thrakha, Shriukan, Alphel, sakarah, Himo, Hikka and the rest! your all a wonderful bunch and gave the whole plot a wonderful flavour.
The Wild Tempest - Storm the shores! their motto, and they certainly did. From pandaria to the southern barrens, stonetalon, ashenvale, back to pandaria and even durotar. They fought with distinction and gave the alliance a mighty focal point to work around. Huge thanks to Inran, Celeste and Odgan, as well as the rest of the team for planting the Blue colours and proving that the blue backs really can kick butt!
The Orcs of the Red Blade - The wolves howled and blades were painted red! thanks to the whole tribe for getting in on the action at Zoram'gar and providing such a huge part of the rebellion roleplay. Grogona, Uzguul, Revax, Sadok, Shargla, Vashnarz, Trakmar, Therak, Rhonya, Caruk, Murrah and the rest... chased down the kor'kron from ashenvale, to Bilgewater and into the heart of the city itself. You make an old wolf proud!
The Blood Wolf clan - Grim you savage dog you! Although it was an unexpected twist and greeted with some doubt, you've shown that not all things have to be 'bad'. Savaging the alliance from one side of kalimdor to the other, these beasts have carved a name of their own. thanks for taking part!
Blooming Lotus the pandaren of the alliance have been a mainstay in the alliance campaign, fighting back the corruption of the sha and the kor'kron at every stage!
Hand of Damnation The emerging Forsaken guild! providing a huge boost to undead rp and giving the northern rebellion a twist of variety among the largely orcish ranks. Haluthious has done wonders dragging that guild together and giving the forsaken a strong representation, sometimes controversial as it may be its provided masses of roleplay and i'm glad he and they got involved!
Alliance forces For all those alliance troops who haven't yet been mentioned. From Pandaria to the city depths you've gone out on a limb to get involved in a heavily horde related plot. and I hope you all had fun.
Horde Forces To all of you who took part I can only thank you for getting involved and hope you enjoyed yourselves. Boy it was sure a long slog, from Zoram'gar to the defeat of hellscream, but we dragged our behinds there in the end!
Moneyfix - You explosive goblin you! without your ingenuity and bag of explosive tricks we'd of never finished half the events. Thanks for being such a huge help and taking part.
Helmut - What can i say? From the brilliant posters to the wonderful initiatives he's been a trooper in spurring the alliance into wanting to take an active part. thanks man!
Areyah - I can't say thankyou enough. The part you played was enormous and integral to everything. Giving the alliance some organisation and a plan. It wouldnt of been half as fun for either side without your input, advice and help. I look forward to the next war!
Alph'el - Though many may have not seen it i know how much work you put into both maps and event organisation, not only for the marauders but many horde guilds. thanks for your huge contribution!
Rargnasha - From the very beginning you took on a huge work load, an immense responsibility and a lot of headaches. Without your hard work and inventive events and diplomatic thinking it would have -never- of been possible. My deepest and most sincere thanks to you 'bro' for all you've done as General of the northern rebellion. Atleast now you can throw off that responsibility and chill with the worgs!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thankyou's aside, if anyone wishes to post screenshots, thankyou's of their own or add any short storys do feel free to use this thread. Thanks again everyone!

It's been an amazing ride. This plot has been unique in it's length and ability to unite (and divide) people. I'm excited for the future!
But first...
Booze.

Re: [OOC] [H+A] Victory!
Cheers for the kind words Krog.
That unexpected twist was unexpected even by me. It started as a means for me to retire Grim and ended up splitting a guild in two and splintering a chunk from the Rebellion. It also gave rise to a whole new, different guild!
But yeah, thanks to all the people who organised this and took part. Its been a long strange trip indeed.
Its been a real pivotal moment for me, without this plotline the Blood Wolves would never have formed and that would suck!

Just an example of what close co-operation on long-term events between many guilds can achieve.

Could have been worse could have been better. I enjoyed whatever i could. Sadly Ally side we lost a bit of leadership midway so that didn't really help.
EDIT: Plus those who wouldn't have wanted could have stayed in SW, low levens and so and came up with a good reason.

It wouldn't have been any different if it were the Siege of Stormwind.

Re: [OOC] [H+A] Victory!
Was a long, eventful and above all rewarding journey. Cheers for everyone that took part, organizers, guild leaders and my own officers especially. Towards the Durotar part i admit i was losing motivation. Should have discover we can use Siege of Orgrimmar lockout to Roleplay a lot and lot earlier.
Regardless, a good journey, a good plot, one worth Roleplaying through.

more on topic:
I greatly enjoyed every part of the campaign I was in.
Everything from sailing to and from Kalimdor with the regiment and many others to running around smashing shit up with the blood wolves.
This was a good one.

Re: [OOC] [H+A] Victory!
Three main points i'd like to make for anyone not having liked the campain becouse of the ganking (Edited):
1. We damn well very damn well knew this could happen by being in Durotar. It was decided to the hosted there, simple as that WITH consideration. Just since some closed one eye to think it couldn't that badly is their own fault.
2. No one, NO ONE forced anyone to come to it, it's a choice of every guilds/persons free will.
3. You don't need officers/guild leaders to make all decisions.
Things could have been done better yes, siege could have been used better. -YOU- yourself could have maybe sugested something sooner since aparently someone like me had no issues. Some held their events in wesstfall at a point, some fell back to Northwatch at a point, which i belive were Disciples.
Of comunication was bad and even with siege and skype and shiz people couldn't tell where everyone is when asked.
BUT the people who were displeased at being killed/ganked/honor farmed. Rather compained -THEN- got a bright idea and decided to move to a safer area or sugested to do so or least told to to the most people that they would or whatever else. No, least i didn't see it happen. Not until at least near the end when some moved to westfall for a few events i belive. Disciples near the end retreated to Northwatch.
But before? No. I didn't see anything. I told my own guild this could happen, they knew it could and they still enjoyed it when i asked them if they did, sure they agreed that it wasn't the best but still.
That's my humble opinion.

This mainly. If only this had worked as intended, issues wouldn't have been as big as they were. It's what bothered me most about the campaign since... yes, we were warned about the risks.siegmund wrote:

Re: [OOC] [H+A] Victory!
the most important thing though is; did you guys have fun?
every campaign has its flaws, that's unavoidable, but as long as the gross of the time and Rp was fun, then I'd consider it a success in my book.

Re: [OOC] [H+A] Victory!
Yeah. I think that it "played out" a bit better and easier for the Horde, which is good. From what I've experianced I liked it. All campaignes have problem and flaws but the Alliance side had a goal which we did accomplich, even after change in command, ganners and forces dropping out. I see this as mostly a great opportunity for the Horde RPers to get together and have a good run of events and from what I've seen it has also put alot of change with in the Horde community. We in the Alliance were there to take part in some military events and raids and I think that most of it was great! Different guilds banding together, fights and inner turmoil in the camp and the very good DM events (specially thr first assult on Tiringarde and the raid on Barrens). The gankers were a downer but also expected and nothing to keep on bitching about. I liked this campaign (They are the most fun thing with this server, large events with lots of guilds) and I am very much looking forward to the next!

Re: [OOC] [H+A] Victory!
In truth, as a server experiment It was a first Helmut. Never on this scale has our community attempted to follow the main plot of an expansion so closely and so actively, its always been a sort of 'side-show'. I think just after the Red blades, marauders and such left pandaria on their initial visit I had come to enjoy the RP that came form doing just that (albeit on a smaller scale), and started getting ideas... BIG ideas...
...hopefully, it lays the groundwork for future expansion plot lines (and we learn from mistakes this time around) so we can enjoy them in the future

Ah - I didn't see this topic! Do excuse my tardiness. I should like to add my thanks to the Horde side Rebellion. Especially to our dearest Rarg. I doubt we would have had as much fun if you didn't do what you did!
The Rebellion has been such wondrous fun and I will look back on this time fondly - Thank you all!

Re: [OOC] [H+A] Victory!
I apologize for vanishing at the end of things. My motivation plummeted due to drama, so I just dropped out of the game. Even if the Durotar part of things didn't go that well, I hope people at least got enjoyment out of the previous months. This campaign has been going on since spring, and it really shined for most of it.
Thanks to everyone who participated, on both sides, and I am very glad to have had the opportunity to work with so many people.

This was a really good campaign, and a nice change to see so many people RPing in Kalimdor. Thanks to everyone involved.
Definitely need a final meeting of the Neutral Summit at some point, to talk terms.
