Specific area/town: Gnomeregan
Family: The Tinkertron family is named after the last invention invented by the line: the Tinkertron. This ingenious device, envisioned and designed by the late Tiberius Tinkertron, is able to create inventions on its own. Sadly, because the quality of these inventions is comparable to the work of an average goblin, the apparatus never really gained fame. Xildon’s direct relatives include:
Quentic Marcus Everett Tinkertron, younger brother
Xavier Tiberius Tinkertron, father, blacksmith, born in Ironforge
Lizzabeth Tinkertron-Stumbleplug, mother, born in Kul Tiras
Tiberius Tinkertron, paternal grandfather, last engineer of the family

Mortimer R. Tinkertron has several children, who are left undefined for possible future use.
Known friends: Wild Tempest’s soldiers. Many others are dead or gone.
Description: Average height, muscular build, quite some body hair, shaved head, reasonably kept beard and moustache. When not in armour, his clothing is simple and practical: pants with many pockets, tool belt for whenever one may require tools, socks in sandals.
Personality:
History: Though born in Gnomeregan, Xildon grew up in Ironforge. Among dwarves, he heard many stories of great heroes and their heroics, so after he’d been his father’s apprentice at blacksmithing for a while he ventured out into the then-known world (Eastern Kingdoms), as an adventurer. Though at it for quite some years, slaying gnolls, murlocs and the occasional troll, these travels earned him little fame.
Then came the Horde. As the orcs advanced upon Dun Morogh, Xildon signed up for the Grand Alliance’s army. Not only did Xildon fight, he even served as 50% of a mortar team for a while! The Alliance won, and in the time of peace Xildon got into several jobs, such as tank mechanic and guard. This persisted until Gnomeregan. As the city fell, Xildon was with those who fought the troggs. But disaster struck: as Xildon’s sword went through the gut of a trogg thrice his size, the wretched thing excreted through the mouth radioactive vomit, right on top of Xildon’s head. The top of his head has been unable to grow hair ever since.
Xildon survived, however. After the Third War he served in Nethergarde, Toshley’s Station and Fizzcrank’s Airstrip, until a human superior discharged him for “being too old”. Though the man was perhaps simply misguided by the bald spot, Xildon firmly believes this act to be inspired by racism. Out of a job, he applied to the Grand Alliance Institute for Research, Development and Advancement of the Sciences, GAIRDAS for short (later known as the Gnomeregan Institute for Research, Development and Advancement of the Sciences, GIRDAS). Here he was part of security, which apart from "normal" security duties also encompassed "doing things wimpy scientists consider too dangerous to do themselves".
After many adventures resulting of his being part of this institute, after Theramore Xildon resolved to try to join the army again. He found his new company in the Wild Tempest, in which he resides to this day.

- Proud owner of a yaungol war yak, Shieldbreaker.
- Though it is currently inactive, Xildon is sergeant of the Gnomish Early Assault and Recon Specialists, GEARS for short.
- In his youth, Xildon sported a magnificent gnomefro. The aforementioned trogg-related incident put an end to this.
Things you may not know about this character:
- Xildon is partly responsible for the summoning of a fiery spider demon into Azeroth. It now roams the Badlands.
- Xildon is also partly responsible for, or was at least involved in, Ezlbag’s death. Something he deeply regrets.
- He is, in fact, not an engineer. This should be under "Things you may know about this character", but somehow people always assume he is.
- Xildon considers goblin women to be insanely attractive. Of course, he will never admit this.
