Description:
He is rather tall for being a gnome. Tends to look quite messy with his unkept, almost orange, hair and beard. Is often seen in his very fancy armor, carrying many military medals and a long cape, dragging after him wherever he goes.

Personality:
Helmut is a loud and talkative gnome who likes to be the centre of attention. A very social being. He bears much pride,especially surrounding his titles and accomplishments. He can often talk about his great skills as one of the greatest Spymasters within the Alliance, aswell as his "amazing" skills with daggers and rifles. However, hes best power lies in his retorical abilitys, as he is known of having a tongue made out of silver. With a tongue of silver and pockets full of gold one can go pretty far. Helmut likes to show of his wealth, half inherented and half from unknown sources, and often buys expensive alcohol and collectible items. He has a large web och associates with whom he trade informtion with, making him fairly popular but also sometimes hard to trust. He is an opportunist whos main motivation is personal gain and power, a true narcissist. But somewhere inside that selfish little man is a heart, but that (genuine) heart is hard to find.

History:

Youth, upbringing and early career
Helmuts parents where both working in Ironforge at the time he was born, years before the Orcish invasion of Azarot and the fall of Gnomeregan. His mother was a diplomat sent from Gnomeregan and his father was a engineering advisor at the large hangar. Helmut was the only child but grew up around many cousins on his mothers side, being a large family of diplomats. At the age of seventeen he left to study politics in Stormwind. While there he started hanging with shady studentgroups. Helmut would soon start to collaborate with groups such as the Stormwind Assassins, later the SI:7, getting along pretty good with Pathonia Shaw. It was at this time as the Orcs invaded through the Dark Portal. Helmut joined the Alliance army to fight but ended up mostly doing scouting missions, due to his size. As the Orcish Horde spread through the Eastern Kingdom so did Helmuts jobs as he worked at different spots over the time, moving him up north into Lordaeron. There he would stay and do scouting and intelligance missions to aid the humans while gaining many good contacts and friendships. During the third war was Helmut stationed in Hillsbrad and, luckely for him, he avoided the spread of undead Plague. As the Plague tainted Lordaeron he now stayed there to try to protect and cleanse the lands he had grown to love. Joining up with Alliance Forces and other orgnaisations, like the Argent Dawn, Helmut would stay in the north but also travel around the new continent Kalimdor aswell as for a time step through the Dark Portal. Finally the chance to bring down the Lich King came as the Alliance, together with the Horde, invaded Northrend. Helmut would stay there during the whole deployment. It was there he also earn his title "Spymaster" for his exellent work in Icecrown. When the Lich King was defeated Helmut returned back to Lordaeron, not to keep it from being tainted, but to rebuild the old towns. Yet life of a Spymaster is never slow and jobs around the whole world had now open up for Helmut, and he liked it. He liked it alot.

As Spymaster of the Alliance, piller of the community

Soon enough would Helmut start leading covert missions and oversee scouts for the Grand Alliance military. Victories includes the battles of Jade Forest (Jade Fist campaign), finding and fighting the evil cult of the Black Hand, leading and screaming at troops in the retaking of Stromgarde and heading one of the most deadly forces that the Alliance has ever produced: The "Prey on the Weak" covert regiment in the battle of Alterac Valley. Helmut started to make a name for himself in the Allinace, mostly for his victories and loyalty to the Crown but also because of his very loud and visable public persona. He was often helping out the guards with the crimefighting in Stormwind, attending diplomatic meetings and hosting events with the community. Helmut knew everyone in Stormwind and it seemed like everyone in Stormwind had their own opinions on him.

Helmut also started to get close with many leaders of the Alliance. He was a regular friend of the commanders of the guards aswell as the leaders of the church, mostly through asskissing or exchange of information/favors. His greatest ally, however, was Areyah Conover, Rear Admiral of the Alliance fleet and the Minister of Defense. Helmut became her go to person for information and coverting since neither her or Helmut very very fond of the current SI:7. Helmut began to view the stern and disciplined Areyah as a mentor in politics, bureaucracy and military. He stayed close to her and often accompanied her on business trips.

Vol'Jins Rebellion and rise in authority

This would eventually lead to her personally inviting him to join the preperations of the takedown of Garrosh Hellscream. Helmut was put in charge of spreading black propaganda among the Horde and surveillance Vol'jins Rebellion. Helmut and Areyah would work very closly this time and as the conflict rose were Helmut soon a big player in the effort to invade Orgrimmar. As a cross-faction council between the rebelling Horde guilds and the Alliance military were established was Helmut chosen to be a part of it. Soon after dismissing the very disobediant SI:7 represenatives from the council would Helmut head all covert and scouting in the kalimdor effort. Helmut was pleased. The more power and authority he was given the harder he worked. During these councils he made a few connections with the different Horde leaders, often exchanging gifts and sharing stories. He hoped that when peace arrived there would open up new opportinities for trade and diplomacy.

Areyahs nose for discipline had really rubbed off on Helmut. It had progressed to the point where he now demanded the most highest forms of discipline from his troops aswell as the rest of the army. Lower ranked soldiers would be viewed as dirt, specially those who did not take orders very well. Only higher ranked members of the military had the chance t earn respect and good treatment from him. His view on Night Elves, which had been declining through the years, also his a new low when he and Areyah often had to butt heads with them through the process of the Rebellion. Still, the rebellion and the Alliance forces worked well together, winning back land from Garrosh Hellscream in Ashenvale Forest, Stonetalon Mountain and parts of the Barrens. Through losses were hard (Odgan Strongbrew, one of Helmuts closests friends, saw his end in Stonetalon) was Helmut not prepared for what was to come.

The Siege of Orgrimmar

After much fighting and winning land from Hellscream were a proper invasion planned. A final siege on Orgrimmar. The Alliance deployed all of their forces into a huge military push. Helmut had been chosen to oversee the scouts and coverts and be apart of the collaition of leaders and higher ranked officers. He also worked as the quartermaster of the campaign, supplying the troops with rations aswell as rewards in exchange for validations. This was at the time controversial as a well rewarded mark was to burn down an orphanage. The preperations went well and in a swift action were all the troops deployed. Then the thing unthinkable happened. Areyah Conovers airship crashed, resulting in her going M.I.A. The time for griefing was put on hold, however, as the siege had to continue. After months of preparations and now a small window open it was up to Helmut and the other leaders of the Alliance to break their way through Durotar and then into Orgimmar. After much fighting were Orgrimmar taken by the combined forces of the Alliance and the Rebellion. As many of the troops kept pressing on would Helmut lead parties to collect riches from Orgrimmar as payment by the Horde to the Alliance for its support with forces and supplies. Not only did he empty the banks large vault but also aquire a large armada of flying shredder machines for the Alliance military. With his pocket full of gold and riding in a flying death machine could Helmut finally return to Stormwind for some rest, but already making plans for the future.

- Is a very skilled engineer and diplomat.
- Helmuts favourite alcohol is a whiskey brewed in Wetlands called "Ol' Slappy Pappy's Waterbeet Whiskey".
- Is very fond of fancy food and drinks but can often be seen munching off a bag filled with cooked, salted beets.
- It has been hinted that he once was married, but it lasted very shortly.
- Owns a Kodobeast called "Bongos" which he stole from a Tauren camp.
- Helmut is very opened minded to most races and enjoys "cultural diversitiy".
- Helmut can make himself throw up on command.
- Has an office in the Mage District of Stormwind.

- Helmut has various tattoos on his body. His favorite is this dagger on his inner left arm.


Things you may not know about this character:
- While in the Argent Dawn he befriended a Forsken apothecary who, after a drunken night, replaced Helmuts kidneys and liver with magically enhanced once from a high elf. These super organs works very hard when Helmut is poisoned or put to sleep through medication butleaves him unable to get drunk. He stills enjoy the taste of alcohol.


Possible crime record: Some say that he, long ago, sold informtion to the enemy and manipulated two guilds to fight eachother, resulting in some charges of political corruption. There are, however, no documents or proof that this ever happend. Its like it has just gone missing.
