House Lionmane

Overview: House Lionmane is the remnants of a line of the royal house of Trollbane. Divided and weakened, this once prominent and powerful house has lost much if not all of its power and influence to family rivalry and outside interferance. Characterized by Ferocious battle skills and zealous courage, the Lionmanes place immense value on martial skill and military might. A house weakened, but potentially very dangerous in its death throws or revival.

Fealty: Danath Trollbane and the Grand alliance.
Noteable Members: Seiken Lionmane, Anaei Lionmane, Saihna Lionmane.
Relations with other houses: The house of Dawnweaver is a close ally, while the Thorgint family are bitter rivals.
Blazon: A rampant White Lion on a field of blood red.
Colours: Blood Red and White.
Motto: "Courage Prevails"

Family Traits

Family Alignment: Chaotic to Lawful Good.

1. Light to Dark brown hair.

2. Dark Brown to Maroon Eyes.

4. Ferocity - The Lionmane's are born warriors, instilling a sense of priority on martial skill in their children from a young age that gives them a certain ferocity and tenacity in battle.

5. Courage - The Lionmane's place great value on displaying courage is the face of adversity, be it with a foe or otherwise.

6. Warriors - The Lionmane family was brought about through the ambitious warring of its first Patriarch, Seiken. Through him they established themselves as a northern bulwark famed for both the skill,strength and cunning of their warriors.

7. Horse lords - The Lionmane family very wisely exploited the naturally ideal attributes of its local warhorses in warfare. this means their Knights and mounted warriors are particularly deadly.

Played Family Members

Seiken Lionmane - The founder and original patriarch of the family, who's founding titles and forces etched out a bulwark in stromgarde against both the Horde and syndicate. Famed for his decisive Victory's over the horde forces of the covenant, the gurubashi empire and sinister forces such as the dark sphere and hand of nightmares, seiken is a widely revered warrior.

aged 62 now, the ageing General was subject to a coup that saw the thorgint family ousted him. Now living in stormwind, Seiken is said to be focusing on his duty's as an alliance general. Though still backed by much of his original holdings and the Dawneaver family, the Patriarch has not taken up arms against his rivals.

Saihna Lionmane - Currently holding no position in stromgarde, Saihna has taken a back seat while the victors of the coup protect and rule in the lionmane family's place.

Just a pointer, it was Arador that put Saihna in her position in Stromgarde, not Thorgint. By that time, the Thorgint as a family were not even present, they only showed up some time after that (not even sure there were any single Thorgint around, but I'm not 100% sure on that one). Also, Saihna doesn't have any acting position in Stromgarde now and hasn't had that for a long while.


Edit: Also, I don't remember there being a coup? Seiken was believed to be dead, and Saihna wanted to continue the fight for Stromgarde and simply gathered the few arathorians around to do so.

I' was talking six months ago.

That wasn't a coup for Saihna to be put up though. She was pretty much out of the picture then. That was a coup for the Council to take over instead of the Lionmanes.

Saihna was pretty much stripped of her position then. She has no say anymore for any other reason then that she sucks up to the Council really xD
