[A] <South Seas Trade Company>

"Good Citizens of the Alliance, an opportunity has arisen in the Southern Oceans, and the South Seas Trade Company is in need of an able crew to man the ships that will secure trade routes to the new lands. All interested parties should report to an officer of the company at the Stormwind Docks for further information on this new and exciting opportunity."

The South Seas Trade Company is a small trading group formed by the mysterious "Baron", with hopes of securing viable trading routes into Pandaria, and eventually expanding elsewhere in the South Seas, expanding commerce for the Alliance as a whole. But is all as it seems?


OOC Information
Concept -
A newly formed guild, the SSTC intends to expand trade into the South Seas, mainly Pandaria. While our main imports are what we are known for, the company has a darker underside of smuggling, slavery, and the like.
Ranks -
Our ranks are split into four subsections; The Crew, The Enforcers, The Workers, and the Tradesmen.
The Crew man our three ships that sail to Pandaria. The enforcers are our muscle, if some of our goods are misplaced, then they make sure they come back. The Workers' jobs stretch from just dockworkers loading the ships, to assisting the Goods Master in trading on the mainland. Finally, The Tradesmen handle selling our goods back in Stormwind City, and never really leave.

We plan to RP in three different places, Sri-la Village and Pandaria, on our ships travelling to Pandaria and being moored off the coast of Pandaria (we will use the Vashj'ir ships for this) and Stormwind harbour - which we will only visit briefly before heading back out to Pandaria again. Don't worry if you're a low level, we can get you there.

On topic, good luck. There have been naval military guilds, sea-trade guilds and pirate guilds. Strange enough, they haven't really stuck around. Let's hope yours will!

If you'd be so kind, join the Pandaria channel (/join Pandaria) - I promise you that you won't regret it. Blooming Lotus has a fairly active player base now and I am pretty sure that frequent interaction with your furry friends - in whatever shape or form - will enrich both of our role-play while you are in Pandaria. What fun is exploiting the riches of a newly uncovered continent without screwing a little with the natives, right?

The company has set sail for Pandaria as of tonight! (We may be few in number at the moment, but we have a good IC reason for that.) Has been quite amusing among ourselves so far, we almost lost a ship this evening! We also picked up a new member, albiet only OOCly, but they're going to join the crew when we arrive in the Jade Forest, which is cool. We should arrive there in a few days, so should anyone want to RP with us there, contact us and we'll organise something. We'll be around Sri-la Village setting up shop at the end of this week. (Thats the plan.)
