The Circle of Magic

((This colourful poster is dotted around the major cities of the Alliance, including Dalaran.))
((Will post OOC info later, having to shoot off. This will start on the 4th of March at 20:30 in the first room of the Mage Tower!))
The Circle of Magic invites YOU to a gathering of minds!
If you are study the arcane or are just simply interested in all things magic related, then this is the place for you. Every other monday from the 4th of the upcoming month, this event will be held inside the Stormwind Mage Tower beginning at half past the eighth bell in the eve.The first gathering will be discussing the following matters:
- An introductorial meet and greet!
- Show off a fun spell or speak of one you know.
- The Kirin Tor and the Alliance.Greater matters will be produced and discussed each week; anything from the use of dark magic to strange artifacts located around the world. Future expeditions will occur as well. For more information, contact me via a courier or face to face in the city of Stormwind.

What is this?!
So basically, as Skarain said, the Arcane Conclaves were a lot of fun but were also very brief. I'd like to take that concept and then go one step further. The event could bring anyone's ideas to the table at council, all they have to do is discuss it. A collaboration for the magic community! In reality, it is simply just another event to fill up the calendar.
Where will this go?
I plan to use this group to do expeditions, perhaps alongside the Freelancers or hiring out the Blades for protection at points. My plan is to create some items that need to be contained/destroyed or recovered, not to mention magical ananomlies visited etc. All matters magical can be discussed and if anyone has any further suggestions, we can roll with those.

The IC post said anyone interested in magic. This includes natural and divine magic! It even includes Shadow/Fel but those people might suddenly go missing on an expedition. Come one, come all!

Even if you didn't, you can just make one for the next one. Just do furious poking at every mage-char roleplayer and they'll come

Honored mages, wizards and spellcasters of the Circle.
You represent the elite of elites, the finest, most experienced of the Alliance's spellcasters. The most knowledgeable magicians to be found anywhere. As such, I humbly request your aid with problems of a magical nature.
I am but a humble death knight, serving Lord Mograine's Ebon Blade and the Alliance to my best ability. I have however gotten in touch with a number of fellow knights serving in the regions surrounding Stormwind, with one single goal: To eradicate the renegade death knights wherever they hide, to break their blades and burn their bodies. Yet, we are but a very few, and the renegades are well organized. To have a fighting chance, we need to be able to fight the rune-magic they might throw our way, and that is where I ask for your aid.
There are stories of magic-resistant runes, spells that envelope the user in shields against magical damage, but if I, and my brothers in arms are to be able to fight the renegades, or to die worthy deaths that help turn the tide, then we need these things to be more than just stories, we need them to be weapons at our disposal. I have little but gratitude to offer in return for this mighty boon I'm asking of you, yet whatever I might have, is yours to ask, if you would aid me and my fellow ebon knights in this matter.
