Aerain Velnaren Vierran

Aerain is just slightly under the average height for a human male, although his stature matches his smaller height. He has the characteristic slight point to his ears, to which seem somewhat alienate his appearance from that of a normal human. His eyes hold a slight blue hue or aura to them, a mixture of his elven lineage and that of his biological family, the serpentines; the serpentines have a lineage of strong arcanic blood, which is the reason for his slight aura, even if he is a half elf.

His hair is light brown and to a medium length, not going beyond his shoulders. His face is subtle, with no real remarkable features apart from the sharpness of its structure.

Physically, although for his small stature, he is able to the extent that most mages would be. His body is slightly toned throughout, showing a modestly built frame, most likely from the training that the regiment put him through. He is not an opposing figure by either stance or muscularity.

Aerain is not an imposing character, whether it be from his physicality or mentality. He is remarkably quiet and shy due to his disposition in society. He is a character who keeps himself to himself, aiding when ordered to, but reading when he has nothing else of particular interest to himself. This self-inclination is not at all rude, as he would not turn down a conversation if he is offered one.

Like some, he is a passionate supporter of his friends, although he seemingly has troubles sometimes relating to them, whether they be mage or warrior. This trouble relating to most people is his most apparent social barrier, to which he normally spends time conversing with his familiar, Abercrombie, to pass the time. This usually makes his outward image of that of a hermit rather than of a mage within a regiment of stormwind.

The history of Aerain goes back at least three decades, to a time where even he truly does not know what happened to himself. His earliest memories are of him within the household of the Vierran family as what he would appear to be a "son" of his "father" along with his two supposed siblings.

It is between the time of his early childhood to the time of him joining the regiment that he gained most of his personality traits that we see of today. His social awkwardness and sometimes lack of communicative skills come from this area. It is also with this that Aerain began his training as a mage, mainly working with theoretical magic than actual magic, as he was physically incapable of casting until he reached the age of around "10". Although this lack of practical experience has hindered him in cases, he is well versed with magical symbols and chants and can easily acquire new spells and abilities without too much effort for the basics.

Upon his "18th" year, he joined the regiment of Stormwind, under the command of Samian Vandercal, to which he felt outwardly threatened by and obeyed his orders without a moments hesitation, although with a lot of shaking and a stutter. To this end he has continued to work for the regiment in the very same manner up until the present day.

The most significant part of his recent history, is the breaking of his runes upon his body one day, which made him awaken to himself with his notable elven features being shown. This is due to the parentage of his mother, who is of the serpentine family, and their views upon the half elven members of society; thus he was taken in by the Vierran's and branded to avoid him discovering his true heritage. The event has changed him, however, he has now committed himself in becoming a better mage to which people can aspire and rely upon.
