Forsaken Paladins are a great concept, something I truly wish they had introduced with the sway of new class/race combinations for Cataclysm. Personally I imagine Undead Paladins to be like the Dark Knight/Black Paladin variants of Dungeons & Dragons table-top games, former warriors of the Light who have either fallen or received corruption to twist their judgement and flip it on its head.
After all, if he truly believes himself to be doing the Light's work; I don't think the Light has much say in it!
Looking forward to coming across him.
I was at a crossroads - I had both a warrior and DK at level 86, and unsure which one to level. I went DK in the end.

This is interesting, and from what I've ever read, more or less true. If he truly believes he is doing the Light's work then he IS(to an extent, I guess certain crimes against the Light would be obviously anathema to the Light itself).

Oh, no. It wasn't unclear. That was just me replying to Arenfel's point.
I like the idea of a dark paladin. Not quite the "Blackguard" of D&D. But (taking that game, not WoW)... more an evil-aligned Cleric (for the sake of argument seeing The Shadow as "evil", though I think it's above and beyond such a simple nomenclature).

It's okay, you can call shadow evil. WoW isn't that black and white.
