In slums, streets and other places where guards rarely visit, a bald, scarred and not very good looking man can be seen putting up a few wanted posters. At closer look one would see:

(Agreed with Vaell, then again different guys have a different understanding of stuff. If you assume a beer is 5 coppers then it is a million beers. Over 3 million quid in real terms.)

And then I hope it is role-played as being a large sum, that is the point. If I wanted it to be interpreted as "how you want" then that's what I would have posted.

*Kyven pulls it down and rolls it up, reading it over again to make sure he was correct the first time before heading off*

Don't bother with getting anal over something as meaningless as the exact amount of gold on a wanted poster. Just go with "a fat sack of gold" in your head.
Why does every thread that doesn't completely conform to RP-police rules have to get slandered right away? Just take the poster as is.

And so she trudged around the City, tutting loudly and muttering mumbled prayers. Her eyes wide with indignation. Her hands trembling with disgust.
Swish, swash went her wizened fingers. Scritch, scratch. She smote this new monster. Again and again until, she near collapsed from the stress and strains.
But there, in the corner of her wildly raging eye another beast was waiting. Another of these vile and Lightless creations.
And so she gathered herself, the tears welling and her teeth clenched, and flicked her wrists and scurried her hands:

Sullee strolls past one of the posters, followed by a thick-looking youngster. He hadn't even noticed the poster himself, but the stupid youth certainly had. "Boss, boss! That other fat guy has a prize on his chest!"
"A prize on his neck, you idiot.." The fat gnome replied. He pointed the young thug down to the ground and, using the fool as a step to clim to reading height, overlooked the poster whilst the step was loudly groaning at the weight of he gnome.
"A trap. There is no money; they want a run on that fat major's rounded head and then when someone with a bloody satchel comes to collect the coin he'll find out he was framed. Brilliant plan. I could've come.up with that." He'd swiftly brush through his beard. "I'm sure I did. Let's go, Timothy. We still need to ransom miss Doe's cats."
