Re: Lunar Festival
So fun to RP Raen around Nelves <3 They're the only thing he really thinks he can look up to. They make him feel like a child.
Seriously, I loved the poem you opened with, Arkil. Really fun event, it was great listening to the stories. Just a bit hard to read them at first because of everyone talking while people were giving stories >_>
But it was awesome, and I'll definitely be there next year :3

Re: Lunar Festival
Thanks for the kind words Rae! - Always fun to have you RPing with us. The Banquet the other night was sensational! Thanks! More Elf-land Rp!
Here's the Poem:
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
- Mary Elizabeth Frye (1932)

Can't believe it's been a year already! Last time I participated and told a story on Thelos, this time I had the honor to attend on Paozi and was allowed the same pleasure.
My conclusion: it doesn't really matter on what character you attend, this event is fun for pretty much any character.
Here's a screenshot I took last time of Eavya's opening speech last year:

Re: Lunar Festival
Advertise it on the realm forums please, somehow, one of you, do it, please. It's a nice bit of publicity and people looking at it will at least see that the purple skinned long eared inferior ones are still out and about.
I like the trend with culture events going on at the moment, the Sin'Dorei had one and now the annual Lunar festival too.
Edit: It's a nice pace of change from the war that's generally dominating the mindset for most role-players!
