Clan Blackforge
Character name: Lord Cyrik Blackforge
Alias: Chancellor
Gender: Male
Age: 70
Race: Dwarf (Dark Iron/Bronzebeard)
Class: Warrior
Birth region: Wetlands
Specific area/town: Dun Modr
Family: Blackforge Clan, no wife or beardlings
Known friends or enemies: Quite neutral to most except the despicable Horde races. Trolls eating them, Goblins blowing them up, Orcs ravaging their property, Forsaken gassing them, Taurens being bullheaded, Blood Elves just not trustworthy.
Description: Young but weary Dwarf male, black hair and beard with brown eyes (originally, damn patch changed them to blue) that also often is well-dressed in fine clothing and carrying a ornated mace of unknown origin.
Personality: Mostly reasonable, but if angered his Dark Iron heritage can keep the issue in mind for quite some time until he think justice has been served.
History: Cyrik, son of Greippner, was born in Dun Modr but quickly got bored by the small town. He could study schematics for hours a day, and look dreamingly up in the sky. No, Cyrik Blackforge did not want to do as all dwarves had before him. He wanted to see the world, and that from an airplane. He then he went to Ironforge to learn how to fly, got his permission and took off in his airplane, to seemingly never be heard off again.
After a few years of peace, Cyrik was finally heard off! He had made it to a mysterious land called Kalimdor with his airplane, and crashlanded there. With no spare parts to repair it, he began to dig out a place to sleep with his Gnomish Army Knife, when he managed to dig up some old things that looked older than Ironforge, yet had clear signs of connection through certain dwarven symbols.
He managed to get to the goblin town of Ratchet, where he gave the location of his broken airplane in trade for a ticket over to Eastern Kingdoms. He got to Ironforge and showed his items with certain pride for the Explorers League. They got very excited, and went as far as to fund Cyrik's next expedition there if he was to return. Cyrik agreed to the proposition, and headed back to found Bael'Modan (Red Mountain), and to carve out more mysterious artifacts.
However, some time before Deathwing's return the Goblins blew up the base and brought havoc to the digsite, killing the commanding officer of the military force there. Having no reason to stay there after the horrible act of aggression, Lord Cyrik returned to Ironforge and put his time and energy into politics instead, which he still is doing to this day.
Things you may know about this character: While dark in his skin, his loyalties remain to the Alliance as a whole. History taught his clan that arguing among one another just leads to ruin for all clans, and by that seeing Moira's son as a possible way to unite the clans (at least two of them) in the future.
Things you may not know about this character: When enraged, his anger shows no limits. Total eradication isn't unheard of when it comes to retaliation if he gets personally involved into something emotionally affecting him (eradicating a Goblin mining operation nearby Bael'Modan after the blast that nearly did him in, blowing up the mining entrance and burying the Goblin workers inside, to name an example).
Possible crime record: None for the record.
Other information: Living in a manor within Ironforge now, until Dun Modr and his clan hall has been retaken.

Re: Clan Blackforge
Character name: Cid Blackforge
Alias: "Cap'n"
Gender: Male
Age: ca 300 +/- 20 years.
Race: Dwarf (Bronzebeard/Wildhammer)
Class: Warrior
Birth region: Wetlands
Specific area/town: Dun Modr
Family: Blackforge Clan, widower since his wife and beardling got killed.
Known friends or enemies: Doomsday cults he carry a special hatred for, other than that he severly dislike the Horde.
Description: Big and strong, yet at times a sad glimpse can be spotted in his eyes.
Personality: A helpful sort, though when drunk enough he begins to weep and lament his past.
History: Almost as tall as a human, Cid Blackforge is strong as two Wildhammer-dwarves combined and had a certain knack for the art of blacksmithing.
He was a fierce fighter in the militia since before the Second War, and got sent to Ironforge regularly for the infantry training every three months.
He had a wife and a son, and worked hard at the forge and anvil when he didn't fight.
He got an offer to join the Ironforge army full-time, which he was hesitating to accept since he wanted to spend more time with his family than what the army would allow. However, that was about to change. A messenger arrived to Ironforge bearing ill news.
The Dark Iron Dwarves (followers of the Twilight cult) had sneaked past the borders and sacked Dun Modr, and had made attempts on blowing up the bridge connecting to the northern lands. Cid got devastated when he heard the news, and blamed himself for not being there and defend Dun Modr.
However, Cid Blackforge now enlisted into the army full-time, to get a chance at revenge on those that killed his family and kinsmen. He has now achieved the rank of Captain of the Ironforge Guard, trying to get a chance to strike at those Twilights Hammer-following scum whenever he can.
Whenever he spots a Dark Iron Dwarf, he looks it straight into its eyes to see if he's a Twilight-follower or a sane Dwarf.
If it is the former, it is slain. If the latter, it is spared.
Things you may know about this character: Strong and protective, but has also been seen heavily depressed.
Things you may not know about this character: When drunk or sedated, he mentions the name "Matheld", places of importance and other stuff that is slurred out.
Possible crime record: Breaking a stonetable in a tavern while drunk and unarmed, which resulted in a fine and some compensation to the tavernowner.
Other information: Currently deployed on the Pandarian continent, whereabouts is kept secret due to military reasons.
