Adrielle Jainrose
- IRL PIC:
Character name: Adrielle Jainrose
Alias: 'Addy' or 'AJ'
Gender: Female
Age: 23, Birthday 27th of December
Race: Redridge Human
Class: White Witch
Birth region: Eastern Kingdoms
Specific area/town: Redridge Mountains, Lakeshire
Family: Adrielle hails from an old Lakeshire family that first took homage in the town when it was built. The Jainrose's still remain there to this day, with their small herb farm, rabbits and chicken coops. A gentle folk, not the richest but scrape by well enough with their medical concoctions, and their friendliness ensures they have help when they need it - despite their low-class budget the Jainrose family tradition is to have all their children well read and educated. They are usually well spoken, and mottled in colour, which ranges from dark brown hair to auburn and red, with mixed skin tones and usually brown or hazel eyes. Adrielle is the middle child from three sisters.
Known friends or enemies:
Friends
Adrielle generally gets on with most of The Stormwind Regiment, but those in particular are:
- Samian Vancerdal
At first Adrielle loathed Samian because he was so harsh on her, disappointed in her kind nature that he saw as a flaw, and consistently forcing her to cook things for him, but he later became and idol to her, and upon his age creeping up on him Adrielle felt more inclined to take care of Samian, and she began to at him as more of a father figure than a boss, but in the end that wasn't all that different. She still thinks of Samian very fondly, even offering to quit her position in the Regiment to be a carer for him in his reitrement. She still visits him when she can and gives him food. - Irene Silversong
Adrielle has known Irene for as long as she's been in the Regiment, and over the years the two have grown extremely close, she's ranked as one of Adrielle's best friends. Despite Irene's sometimes bossy nature that usually means Adrielle slots into the position of doing what ever Irene says, she doesn't seem to mind. She feels she owes somewhat of a debt to Irene for helping her through her struggle when she first joined. - Bismack Bronze
Upon first meeting Bismack, Adrielle told Irene moments later that she would fall for him which deemed to be true. What initially started out as mere puppy love for Bismack's rugged good looks, Adrielle's affection for him changed completely when Bismack's progress as a leader and as a face in Stormwind history and politics excelled, as he began to mean more than just a superficial crush. Adrielle fell in love with Bismack because people listen when he speaks, and he can influence those into doing the right thing. She believes he has some kind of power to change peoples minds, and holds him in high admiration because of that. She's speculated before that she 'wants to be just like him' and believes he can really make a change, and after saying 'Behind every great man is a great woman' she coyishly stated 'I want to be that woman.' - John Ralegh

Enemies
- Azarth

- Natascha Moller
- Description:
"She's no ten-out-of-ten, but her tits are great."
-Jonathan Ralegh on Adrielle's appearance.
Adrielle is small for someone of three-and-twenty years, doll like - this is further emphasised by her wide forehead, porcelain white skin, big eyes and gormless or afraid expression. She is full in bust and slim in hips, Adrielle used to wear full circle spectacles too large for her face, but after losing them she learned to put up with her long-sightedness. Her eyes are a coppery brown, golden looking in some lights. Her skin is white with the exception of the odd freckle dotting her nose or cheeks.
Her hair, pre-MoP used to be very long and straight, slightly curling at the ends, but after an encounter with the black hand, she had it sawn off. It now sits short, above shoulder length, longer at the front and slightly spikey at the back. She's accustom to wearing a hairband given to her by Irene Silversong. It now holds her bangs out of her face.
"You shouldn't hide your hair miss Jainrose, you're kissed by fire."
-Vaell Silvine upon meeting Adrielle.
- Personality:
"You have a big heart Adrielle, but don't stretch it."
-Lavian Dawson to Adrielle.
Adrielle is characterised as painfully shy, thoughtful, serene, kind, and polite. She is also very gentle, a trait that some co-workers and her father used to consider a flaw, and dislikes competing and fighting. She is shown to be incredibly empathetic, and is often always first to feed water and give company to prisoners regardless of their crime - despite being rather bad as a guard, Adrielle is devoted to her duty and good at heart.
She reigns confidence in matters that involve intellectual ability, among her peers she is renown for her intelligence, and was Samian's first assistant including Bismack after him, after uncovering her ability with strategy and making paperwork look like childs play. On the other side of the coin, Adrielle is not at all courageous or brave - often sitting back to let others deal with the conflict, and becoming a hyperventilating mess when she actually has to deal with one herself. When she gets nervous she has a tendency to stutter uncontrollably and eventually burst into tears, in turn she comes across as rather pathetic. She can also develop grudges quite easily and become quite vindictive, often jealous spats at other wanton women for flirting with Bismack trigger such effects.
That kind of courage you mentioned? The problem with being a leader is that sometimes, you come to the point where the thing you want to protect, and the thing you want to protect it from, are both things you care about. -Areyah Conover to Adrielle.
However, over her years of service, Adrielle has shown improvement and has grown a thicker skin. Now being able to adapt and deal with a difficult situation, or a difficult prepator.
- History:
- Born and raised in Redridge, Adrielle maintained her family's talent for tending to plants and making salves from them, making her quite an accomplished herbalist and alchemist - however she only mainly knows healing solutions, as opposed to poisons which is a brew she has recently began practicing.
When she was 21 her father forced Adrielle to join the Regiment after realizing his daughters ability with with healing magics and salves proceeds her, decreeing that she ought to serve her kingdom rather than coop away in Redridge.
At first Adrielle cried constantly and just became a quaking mess when it came to Regiment training, however she eventually manned up and became more confident in her ability after training under the renown doctor Rentarn, and utterly terrified of Samian Vancerdal - but eventually became his loyal subject. It's said Adrielle took a week off to cry after he quit.
She now preens after his son, secretly in irrevocable love with him, and is one of the Regiments First Cadets.
She learned a few Pandaren healing remedies and became more aware of her mortality, after almost dying in the Pandaria Campaign the Regiment embarked on.
- Powers and Abilities:
Adrielle's main field of profession is support and healing based. She follows the Light and thus uses faith magic, but generally uses traditional medical means more, such as surgery, bandages, herb-lore and medicine. She views the faith magic the Light provides as a gift that should not be squandered, and only used in dire situations where lives are risk. Heavy faith-magic feats seem to exhaust her greatly after using them, so much so she has fallen into a coma for a day or so afterward. However, Adrielle has created her own unique spells that are a mix of her two most used means, Light and tradition; creating things such as a blessed scalpel, that cauterizes as it cuts.
She is also capable of offensive Light magic, but similarly to the heavy-healing spells, one in particular would be a technique she created through the knowledge of the nerves in the human anatomy, and is capable of temporarily disabling them with a simple touch infused with offensive light, however such spells are taxing and she seldom focuses upon it unless it's absolutely necessary. Instead, Adrielle seems to withhold impeccable powers regarding the mind. Her telepathy allows her to read, influence, control, and communicate with the minds of others, project her mind into the astral plane, and generate telepathic force blasts that can stun or kill others. Adrielle is one of the few telepaths skilled enough to communicate with animals (animals with high intelligence, such as dolphins, dogs, and certain birds). She can also telepathically take away or control people's natural bodily functions and senses, such as sight, hearing, smell, and taste. Memory seems to be a key thing in her power to boot, she can pick up memories of a person by simply focusing on an item they own, and the memories surrounding it. Adrielle has also experienced premonitions or messages through dreams.
