About Foes...

I've been trying to add someone to my ignore/foes list. A moderator is aware of this issue but it's been some time now and I still can't add this person to my list. Each time I try I get this message: "You cannot add [name] to your ignore-list because he belongs to the forum Administrators or Moderators groups."

As far as I and the moderator involved are concerned, this person does not have current moderator or admin privileges, so I don't see why I'm being blocked from being able to add them to my ignore list. I find it's very much necessary to add them, especially since the moderator involved highly recommended it.

I'd like to comply but I -still- can't do it and I keep trying.

The reason for this I believe have to do with the library. Since a lot of people have their own library sections and are all moderators for their section this can be what causes it. Could you maybe have a look and verify this. If this is the case it may be hard to go around, but I can try to see if something can be done. But I won't be able to promise anything.

I've checked The Library as best as I can as well as other forums that could be related to a possible elevation in the mod ranks and haven't been able to find this person's name in the moderators list. I might be missing something, but it's been highly advised that this person be placed on ignore and I'd love to comply to this.

You could just choose to ignore a person by yourself by closing you'r eyes, scroll past that persons post and continue living happily ever long.

I want nothing to do with this person. At all. Out of sight, out of mind, and that's what I would prefer.

As I said before and as Saihna stated in this thread it is impossible to ignore the person in question because like anyone with their own library section has the "moderation" priviledge for that even though they don't appear on the moderation list. It's an unusual situation to say the least but in honesty not something one should go out of the way to "fix" unless under some freakish emergency.

The person in question doesn't even post that much/barely ever so I am sure you can make do and just not read the person's post/threads. If tension flares up again then sure, maybe it would be worth looking into the ignore thing. However as I see it, not a priority.

Waaaaait, what?! I didn't take a break because of that! I didn't post as much because it's christmas. The only posts I've made over the last couple of days have been down to alcohol!

I do think some people are a little too sensitive at times. When I'm arguing with someone, I'm not sat red faced with a stress ball in my free hand, or when I call someone a dick I'm not going to carve their name onto my arm. The way I type can come off as aggressive, where as I mean it to be more 'pushy'. I emphasise points a lot and it comes off a little more dramatic, so when I offend people I have little intention to really do so... (sometimes...)

My personal opinion - and I have no idea why I am posting it here - is that the irony lies in the fact that the supposedly chilled out people are the ones who are easily offended/get annoyed over the simpler of things!

Your little hissy-fit demanding to change the Council meeting date -solely- for you, in which you were completely ignorant to how absurd your demands were was a good reminder/example (for the new additions to this community) what kind of person you are.

That you need to make a thread about not being able to ignore she-who-musn't-be-named (nevermind -everyone- knows who you're on about, because you always need to scream bloody murder when Mandui posts) instead of PMing mods/admin, is yet another instance of making everybody know what a selfish, small person you really are.

This forum/community has alot of cornholes (including me, obviously) but you're the only person I pity because life must be really sad and depressing if you're so easily offended and cannot handle it when something doesn't go your way.
