Ashrokan Saying Hi

Hello there Defiasbrotherhooderians!

My name is Ashrokan, in-game, it was at least. It's been a while since I played WoW and since Pandaria got released well.. I noticed my mind wandering off to times when I used to be an outright addict to RP.

I was a part of the Dark Sphere, had a role with the Netherdawn Empire and loved the minor role I had with the Blades.

I was wondering. How is DB now-a-days? And how is the game in general? Is it even worth considering playing the game again?

And are there still any cultists left?

If you speak of "original" cultists, Rohim, Sophyra(Melnerag) and a third(ask Rohim) from TDS are still playing. Sophyra is running a cult of her own, Omen of Discord. Other than that, The Scourge and the Cult of the Damned still roam the twisted grounds of Lordaeron. The Black Hand, a group of Death Knights offer "enlightenment" to people around Duskwood and Stormwind region... in death.

The Chapter is doing their best being the cult-hunting-cult and the death rates of high-ranked Chapterians, either to accused heresy, fallen to cultist blade or other internal and external conflicts are as high as ever.

I did not play the game during the "Golden time", if Vanilla can be called that. There are still more than enough players to create good roleplay with, although depending what you search.

What defines if the game is still worth playing? I've had great fun on the past weeks, a good number of plots going and watching Roleplay to be created all around me and by me to.

Mists of Pandaria itself is great. While opinions do vary, blizzard have done great job to put up a beautiful landscape with lots of roleplaying potential.

A personal opinion is: Is the game worth to be played again? Yes, definitely. And you can use a scroll of resurrection given by someone and have a look.

I gotsa non-guild cult up and coming.

Thanks for the replies guys. Now it's become harder to resist the call to come and check it out. My hardware isn't able to cope (I think.). Maybe I'll drop by some day soon.

For now, my school, job and other hobbies (Halo4) are keeping me busy.

I miss the times of TDS and TNE. Had a great deal of fun in plots with The Chapter and all those other Light followers.

Welcome back! And, for me, RP is as great as it ever was. Don't listen to Raelan he just wants to keep all the Awesome for himself and keep you out of it.

Ashrokan the server would love having you back! With all your wonderful plots.
