Overview
The Southern Gale Company was born with the aim of creating a link between the Eastern Kingdom and Pandaria, as well as enhancing mercantile roleplay during RP-PVP campaigns (which is unfortunately often overlooked) through supply lines, markets and auction houses.

Organization
The Southern Gale Company is a trading enterprise operating in the southern seas of Azeroth, with its headquarter located in the Stormwind Harbour (temporary).
Its aim is to create a trading route towards Pandaria, a series of outposts devoted to supporting the war effort and creating connections with the local inhabitants.
Our main activities will be splitted in two categories:

Legal activities:
- Trading
- Supplying, financing and providing transportation for expeditions and war campaigns
- Setting up trading posts to explore, gather resources and trade with the local folks

Not-so-legal activities:
- Trying to obtain a trading monopoly (expect plenty of sea RP)
- Smuggling, gun-running and bootlegging
- Making money out of the war in Pandaria in every possible mean

Contacts
The Company is controlled by a board composed of several known and respected Eastern Kingdom’s businessmen. They can be found mainly in the Stormwind Harbour. We will let you know their names and addresses in case you want to contact them as soon as possible. (Contact: Zinkle and Cornley for further information)

Cooperation
The Company is all but a closed project, its purpose is to bring mercantile roleplay to everyone interested. Everybody can participate, by backing the society in exchange for a future share, offering his services as an explorer or working as a sailor, and so forth.
To sum up there are endless ways to cooperate both ICly and OOCly with the Company, and we are open to all of them.

- The Company has been officially set up
- Financing the Freelancers' expedition in Pandaria
- Plenty of connections in Stormwind, Ironforge and Booty Bay
- A couple of ships (The Gnomercy, The Seahowler), with the respective crews

We plan to start this week, we have a meeting scheduled for tomorrow evening. We still have to decide whether we'll be operating in Pandaria right now or not, we want to know what the community is going to do first; in any case we'll be surely RPing there as soon as 5.01 comes out. Of course do count on us for operations in the Eastern Kingdoms!

Hm, when the Freelancers move to Pandaria this could prove useful. Where would your bases be stationed?

Not the first themed guild like this, but much welcome indeed. The Dwarves will probably need some naval trading routes soon enough from Menethil.

If the pandaren community doesn't mind we'd like to use empty buildings and villages (for example Greenstone Village or Sri-La Village in the Jade Forest) as temporary outposts where to settle as we explore the continent, hopefully attracting people from other guilds as well. If things work out they could be useful bases for future war campaigns in Pandaria.

It's not a guild so everyone is more than welcome to join as an explorer, a sailor, a mercenary, a tomb raider or whatever; we'll use this topic to let people know about our future expeditions.

Despite the expected disappearance of Zinkle (fair crack, his computer is bust), I've been told that this is chugging along nicely, should be blooming into action soon enough.
