Brothers and sisters of Quel'Thalas.

It is time someone said out loud what we have all known for some time. Our system is corrupt. Those who set themselves up as our Lords, those who claim to protect and guide us, do not have our best interest at heart.

We are the Ascendancy. We are here to stand up to the corruption and indignity of our people. We have been led here by the undeserving men and woman that Sheppard's us. The so called Regent Lord and his self-proclaimed Council of Silvermoon. The Knights, clad in armor as black as their souls. The Magisters and priests that pulls people off the streets for speaking from their hearts, destroying their minds and their freedom.

They hide behind words of War. But which war are we truly fighting, my brethren. Who do we fight for? Quel'Thalas, no. We ones did, but the days of our warrior kings, proudly leading our people to glory and peace, are over. Today we have politicians, squabbling over the leftovers from the green skins on their thrones of bone.
This war is not ours, this war belongs to the Horde. And we are not of the Horde, we are slaves. Ones proud warriors now put on the frontlines to fight for a cause that is not ours, fight for lands that will never be ours. Our young, our brothers, sisters, sons and daughters blood spilled for the Orcs. If our blood -must- be spilled, then let it be for ourselves I say!

In the time of our need, it was not the Orcs that saved our people. They saw only what power we had left and decided to put it to use for their own gains. Those who came to our support was one of our own, a hero of our people. She was one of many to give her life to defend our home, and now there are those that treat her as an outcast, they call her the Banshee Queen. But in truth, she is one of us in heart and in soul. The Forsaken, more than anyone, has become our allies, our brethren in these past few years of conflict after our great fall.
Our friends in Lordaeron have more than anyone else learned of the oppression of the Horde. If you do not believe that we are slaves to the Orcs, you need only look to The Undercity where the truth about the Horde can be seen. Serve the Horde, or be enslaved and serve the Horde.

The Ascendancy calls for you to cry out for freedom. Freedom from oppression, freedom from slavery. Freedom for the Forsaken, freedom for the Sin'dorei!

*Blood Knight Dinnara Sundancer stumbles upon one of the posters, reads it and rips it off, muttering angrily: "T-they are d-disrespectful and c-can't even s-spell 'once'. The K-knight lady m-must see this."*

*Kristeas raises an eyebrow*
"Whoever wrote this, and whoever wrote the Call to Arms message, should really get together. I'm sure that would be highly amusing to witness."

*A strangely bulky, muscular and short elf walks by the poster. tilting the brim of her hat upwards she reads the poster and grins, letting out a chuckle*
"Politics. Oh how interesting games they still play. Interesting indeed..."

Knight Sunburn rests her dreamy eyes on the poster during one of her rounds. She giggles softly at the words she reads, shaking her head a little. When she's done reading, she takes her time to read through it again.

"The darklings are so inventive." She speaks to an initiate, glancing a smile at him. "This latest ruse only distances them more from lights warm embrace. A great sadness."

Knight sunburn clicks her tongue and gives her stallion a loving pat before proceeding, leaving a confused iniate behind who goes over the paper one last time, before following the knight.
"Should we not take them down?" Sunburn giggles softly.
"No, my dear. The whispers of the darklings don't last long once they are out into the light. Light's truth will prevail."
