Re: What's your NOM?
Mmm... where to start?!
Surely? Right?!
Nom Gyoza.
Pea and mint soup. All nice and tasty and good.
One of the best things from York. A Fat Rascal from Betty's (the small one, by The Evil Eye Lounge - which has amazing food and great beer).
My mum's dundee cake. Just brilliant with a cuppa.
(I was guessing that...
Decent beer,
Seabrook crisps,
and a cigarette weren't classed as proper food groups...)

I always got confused when I lived in the States... Capt. Morgan there is always spiced. In the Uk its not, it's just dark rum.
I like it spiced better. But it doesn't make the best Mojitos:
Mojito in Key West, 8am in the morning. With breakfast of biscuits and gravy (not as bad as I imagined).

Re: What's your NOM?
No, they can't.
Light Beer anyone? Beer... that's light?! What?!! Sub 2% "lager" is called shandy... isn't it? (ok, technically shandy is lemonade and beer, and is less than 2% but... at least it tastes better than light beer).
The one thing they do understand is how great it is to buy a 2 litre bottle of rum or tequila for $20. At the time that was £10 for me. Muahahaha.
*falls over*

Oh man I love york!
You can get spiced rum over here and it is infact captain morgans. I've got two bottles in my kitchen along with some Sailor Jerry's.
Sailor Jerry's Dark Rum + Cherry Cola = Win!

Hm hard to discribe. I guess it's sort of like peanut butter but then warmed up and more sauce like. It's also awesome as a Patatje oorlog! Fries of War (bad translation I know)! Which is peanut sauce combined with Mayonaise!

Put off? No, I wouldn't say so, for me. But morbidly fascinated works.
