Drunken Racers

Drunken Racers a Dwarvern event where all are welcome. Only people who can handle their drink and still be fast racer can win. The event will be based at Kharanos where People can play Drinking games While the main racing event takes place.

The race it self Would start off as drinking 7 or 8 strong ales.
Mount up and race to Misty pine refuge which would be a check point to stop at and Drink 5 ales.
Mount up again and race to Gol'bolar quarry and again Drink 5 ales.
Mount up head back to Misty pine refuge and drink 5 again.
Mount up and head to Kharanos to finish by drinking 1 last ale apon arival!

Now the trick is there are 5 second penalties if you throw up.

More penalties may be introduced but i only just thought of this, Any ideas are welcome.
And this does not have to be the only attraction of this event.. other things can be going on in Kharanos.

So 23 ales over the course of a few hours... Yeah, I think humans are out! Stomach pump.

If a Dwarf doesn't win this there is something seriously wrong.

Hm.. Draenei and Elves may have a good chance due to their high metabolism. Though, I'd imagine a Dwarf may have a better chance being "professional" drinkers and all! ;D

The event is welcome for all im still how ever figuring out the details and when to do it as well.. Any ideas are welcome. But yea. i'l probs set the event to happen in about 2 weeks. or so.

Hrm, I take it having a mount is pretty much necessary for this?

i Spose we could do mounted races and Dismounted races.

Something tells me that Elves are far too... refined for ale drinking. Perhaps a very fine wine would be best for most.

Which is why I asked about mounts, I might just roll a dwarf alt to attend with because this sounds awesome
