[A] 14th of June, Priest inauguration of Irys and Jean-Pierre

Greetings all,

The following event has been long overdue. Its original planning was to be almost a year ago, but due to circumstances was postponed. Never the less Irys and Jean-Pierre have been roleplayed as "priests in waiting", meaning they were acknowledged as Priests by the Church but were awaiting their inauguration ceremony. Therefor we would like to complete our priest development at long last, and invite you all to join the ceremony.

Date: Thursday, 14th of June
Time: 21:30 Server time
Location: Stormwind Cathedral

The ceremony is somewhat scripted. Guests will be given specific locations, handled by a Priest leading the ceremony. During the ceremony there will be a unique opportunity: as these priests declare themselves servants of Light's duty and the people, they may choose to submit themselves to requests of the people. Jean-Pierre will do so.

These requests may not be of materialistic nature, and have to fall in line with the tenants of the Church of the Light. The leading Priest will judge if the request valid or invalid. If it is declared invalid, the request is discarded. If it is declared valid, however, the new Priest is bound by oath to complete this request in his carreer as Priest... or break oath as Priest.
This commitment is considered the candidate's final act of faith, to demonstrate he is indeed a true Priest that accepts whatever the Light places before him as duty.
Should no request be made, then the candidate is awarded his title unconditionally and expected to find his duty and path himself.
