This guy seems to be closer to french coldwave/minimal wave than Joy Division/Cure/Bauhaus in my opinion, still very cool though.

By the way, if bands like Bloc Party, Interpol etc. ever did something useful was putting new wave/post-punk under the spotlight again, there have been so many interesting album reissues and documentaries thanks to that.

Oh very true, when I comparing them to Joy Division I meant more about the 'mood' than anything else, the second track I linked has New Order written all over it though. Smile
