some tongue-in-cheek micro-'genre' made up by people with too much blue hair-dye and too much time to spend on tumblr. its more of a general aesthetic than any description of the music.

really good jazz (with one of the best line-up of musicians outside of Miles Davis' famous 'A Kind of Blue' quintet and John Coltrane's 62-65 'A Love Supreme' quartet).
