I am astounded that there isn't a TERA discussion thread up! Quite the game, with a very gripping combat system. Only been out a week, so very new

There is a TERA thread. It's just burried somewhere.
Had the questing been less of a grind, and had it not been monthly sub I might have been intrested. The combat looks shiny.

The questing isn't -that- bad muz, it's on par with wow questing interest wise. But then I read quest texts so questing for me is never a problem, because I know -why- I'm killing ten boars. But the combat is just, outstanding.
It's an Asian based game, of course it's meant to be Asian art style. It's gorgeous mind you, yet you don't need a fantastic computer to run it on full.

I know, it's just I find something quite offputting about asian game art. Characters always look just a bit too flawless...

Well, the problem I have with the questing is that I can accept them in WoW. WoW is seven years old. TERA is new, there are FAR better systems. And were FAR bettersystems in use 4 years ago. So a game today it's imo not acceptable with such a poor system.

I played it. I absolutely hate japense weebo stuff but this is a fantastic mmo the actual gameplay is fantastic (I'm used to quests in rpgs by now tbh)
I'm very tempted but a sub to another game, not so much.

I've heard the Korean version of the game requires more grinding and nipples aren't censored.

Level 53 slayer on Samael named osk. Gameplay's good, art style is horrendous, will see if there's anything to do at max level. PvP has the potential to be the best in any mmo but it's too early to tell for now.
