[A] 28th May - 11th June. Mylord! We're out of potions
OOC note
Just some light hearted fun for anyone being treated in the Cathedral's infirmary, following up on the shortage of herbs in the Kingdom. It is entirely optional.
But JP will be following this. There is a shortage of potions and thus a set of "alternatives" is presented. The potions do their desired work... but unfortunately, they could do a little more than that.
Description
The potion cabinet of the infirmary in Cathedral is rearranged. On one side stand all kinds off odd looking potions with strange labels. On the other side stands a slim reserve of the regular potions with the following note.
To all Doctors and medical staff,
Following the difficulties to replennish the herb stocks, the following potions of our regular medical potions have become a rarity and expensive to make:
- Peacebloom salve
- Briarthorn elixir
- Common poison cure
- Light healing potion
- Gromsblood
Please, only use the regular potions in the most dire of circumstances. To bridge the time between now and our stock being replennished, we have provided new potions. Most of these are fairly new still, and while proven potent, may still show unexpected or unknown side effects. You may help us to improve our recipes by reporting any side effect observed on the patient.
Please take some time to familiarize yourself with the new potions.
A long list is attached behind the note.

Yay, a follow up for Medical supplies runing low! But wait....no herb gathering?
So did I get this right? We are to mix and then drink/use these new potions on ourselves or on unlucky victims? This is guinea pig lab I'm coming and I tell my guildies as well.

No no.. It's just that.. for a duration of two weeks, I encourage anyone to use these "unstable" potions during medical procedures instead of the traditional "they always work" potions.
It's just to add a little more flavor to the lack of herbs context. The new planting etc will be handled with other events, once I get the council's permissions on the locations ... *eyes the council* Chop chop!
