[A] Action Week

I hate the Voice of the People and Lexgrad for beating me to posting this by a day. Light knows I've been working on it for a while ;(.


Tired of poverty? Tired of famine? Tired of crime? Tired of violence? Tired of moral decay? Tired of Indifference?

Put your faith in the Light and serve it. By helping the Light you help the world.

This is our city.

What do we say to squallor and deprivation?
We say, "Not in our City!"

What do we say to crime and violence?
We say, "Not in our city!"

What do we say to apathy of rudeness?
We say, "Not in our city!"

The Holy Light gave us all a pair of arms and a pair of legs, a pair of eyes and a pair of ears and a rather loud mouth. That is more than enough to make a difference!

Gather for the Action Week and serve the Light, making our city a better place! Together we will undertake charitable activities and act for a better tommorow.

Saturday 14.04 : Meeting in the Cathedral of Light at 20:00 for a quick blessing, major Charity Project (Manual labor)
Monday 16.04 : Meeting in front of Westbrook Garrison at 20:00 for a quick blessing, major Charity Project (Manual labor)
Saturday 21.04 : Meeting in the Cathedral of Light at 20:00 for a quick blessing, many smaller charities in Stormwind

Three charities? Thats not enough! A pius man does Good with his every breath!

Starting with the Saturday mass do the following:

1. Wrap a band of cloth around your arm and draw the symbol of your faith on it to show that you are part of the Action Week
2. Greet strangers on the street, treat them with kindness and ask if you can help them
3. Obey the Law and behave like a decent person
4. See a crime? Report the crime!
5. This is your city, speak out against indifference and apathy, crime and rudeness! Take a stand for the Light!
6. Drop by the infirmaries and soup kitchens, offer them your aid!


If you have not helped dozens strangers and made several new friends by the end of the week, then you were not trying hard enough!

The Light is kind and merciful and wants us to spread its love to the world. Whats your excuse for not helping?

There is an OOC message in there too. Try random-roleplaying with strangers and getting to know them. The Role-play God Demands it! The three charity events will be something different to do. You will be paired with other characters, I will probably pick those I think you never interacted with before (gasp!) and set you out to do some menial work. The work itself is just emoting, but doing it together with other characters and making it into a teamwork while chatting around should provide for a fun evening. And it will be different from murder, drama and mystery

Excellent... I may be able to make these, if I'm not busy and have done enough studying to not feel incredibly guilty and anxious.

Also, if you disrupt charity lexgrad...the Light will forsaken you and you will be doomed to eternal torment!

The second event is today. Hopefully with more success than last time. At least worse it can't become.
