[IC] The Church's Clock Ticks Its Last Tock

*Posters are plastered all over Cathedral square, shocking amounts, clearly the writer knew they would be torn down and wished as many people to see these words before they were removed.*
It has begun, look good people of Stormwind, LOOK! Already the people have realized the corruption of the church, with the fall of its paragon you see it for what it is, a false idol. The Light is not a god, it is magic. A force of nature, it is not meant to be worshiped inside of building that could be used for greater uses! You will be told my words, the words of the truthseekers, is heresy. Tell me friends, dear friends, fellow drudges, when was the last time the church saved you? Did their leader not lead us into the maw of twilight? Turn his back on us?
Oh brothers and sisters of mortality, I implore you now! Shake off the shackles of this regime of corruption, the crusades, the murder in the name of 'the light'. Turn instead to the true sources of good in this world; helping your fellow man. These words are brief friends, these words are brief. I mean this only to be a taste.. Terrorists may destroy our dear Queen's resting place, idiots may cover our Ministers in blood, but some will fight on the greatest battlefield. The Battle of the Mind, the battle will be fought with words. Look for my next set of words, my next 'sermon' if you will, for it will enlighten you further to a world without the forced belief, without the forced servitude..

Pierre sighs deeply at the sight of the posters. "I don't understand. Our Church holds no grip over the people, requiring a rebellion. What have we done, other than counsel people who asked for it? Offered words when they needed? Healed their ill and cured diseases?
And when was the last time its author saved the people from the invasion of Orcs or the Undead blighting everything in their path? I doubt a man fighting that battle, comes back to create chaos among the citizens he tries to defend.

Pierre walks into the infirmary, grabs a bucket and fills it with vinegar, water and lemon juice. On his way out, he grabs a sponge and tosses it in the bucket.
"Sad that he fastened his words so. I wonder if he would still manage to catch people's attention without the lure of drama and theatrics. What is wrong with a staple of papers, free to hand out?
Strange, however, that he chooses to condemn our Church and yet emphasize its most important message: help each other."
Pierre shakes his head and splashes the vinegar over the posters with the sponge, watching the ink smear out sufficiently for the writing to become unreadable. Pierre quickly continues.
Pierre drops his empty bucket in the infirmary and lets himself sink into his chair at the Doctor's desk. He glanced at the bookcase loaded with medical reports, each detailing on which patient was treated, when and how. The bookcase bulged. The contents would have to be moved to the archives. Yet again.
"When was the last time we saved someone? When have we ever stopped?"
