Re: RL picture thread
It's a fairly generic haircut (that isn't necessarily a bad thing!) so it shouldn't be so hard to pull off. You have a much stronger jaw than the girl in that pic though, so I recommend you specify to your hairdresser to layer the cut.
Getting a hair cut thats sharp and blunt (i.e not layered) will only accentuate your jaw and make it appear boxy.

Unless your mum is a hairdresser never let her cut your hair! That is a dangerous path and one that leads to damnation...Lyniath wrote:Well the hairdresser fucked up anway. And my mum, for cutting my fringe insane short 2 weeks ago, and then making me spend as little as possible on it.

I try, but she's a ninja with scissors. One day you just go down to the kitchen to get a drink, and suddenly doors slam shut, tied to chair and the scissors are out.
*sigh* just have to wait for this to grow back

HEY LILY.
Pray with me that I get into this college course. If I do, I'll cut your hair for free if I ever get qualified!

Do you go to a stylist/uni-sex hairdresser when you get your hair cut (and it isn't your mother doing it)?Lyniath wrote:I've had enough of scissors, I need someone who can fucking style properly >.<;;;

Get it cut and go for the young Stalin. Or just ask a barber to thin it out if you intend on keeping long hair.Drefurion wrote:On the subject of hair.. I am thinking of having my hair cut.. I've been thinking about this for the past few months now.. still not sure what I want to do with it...

Re: RL picture thread
Never go barber, you can always find a good enough hairdresser for normal prices the same as barbers.
In my experience with barbers they all either have razor's in their hands, ready to shave 120 different types of chav haircuts...OR they speak about as much english as my dog. Barbers are bad....

Re: RL picture thread
As you're going for a more feminine haircut, you should definitely go to a stylist/uni-sex hairdresser. Try and justify to your mum that spending a little bit more in a salon will be more beneficial for you in the long-run than getting a cheap cut in a barber.Lyniath wrote:Corleth wrote:Do you go to a stylist/uni-sex hairdresser when you get your hair cut (and it isn't your mother doing it)?Lyniath wrote:I've had enough of scissors, I need someone who can fucking style properly >.<;;;

Wow.. Stalin.. his hair.. it's.. amazing!
But I think I want hair like my new (dead) celebrity(?, Im not sure if this is the term.) crush, william of orange:
Could also just leave it long and go for a Louis XIV:
I'd also like to point out, our supposed straight male community members, are suspiciously gay.

Re: RL picture thread
tell me about it .____. the lady there barely payed attention to what I wanted. Still, I was told by ppl that they should've been able to do the same thing, and I NEEDED to fix the half-bowl-thing my fringe was doing.
Advice for next time then >.>;;;
It's my mum refusing to accept my femininity again, most likely. For one her first question was "do you want it cut short?", and as for sending me to a barbers...

I actually like William of Orange's hair cut. I'd like to see the reaction of your hairdresser when you bring in that picture though.
