It's a fairly generic haircut (that isn't necessarily a bad thing!) so it shouldn't be so hard to pull off. You have a much stronger jaw than the girl in that pic though, so I recommend you specify to your hairdresser to layer the cut.

Getting a hair cut thats sharp and blunt (i.e not layered) will only accentuate your jaw and make it appear boxy.

Well the hairdresser fucked up anway. And my mum, for cutting my fringe insane short 2 weeks ago, and then making me spend as little as possible on it.
Now it's all short and boyish >.<

I try, but she's a ninja with scissors. One day you just go down to the kitchen to get a drink, and suddenly doors slam shut, tied to chair and the scissors are out.

Never go barber, you can always find a good enough hairdresser for normal prices the same as barbers.

In my experience with barbers they all either have razor's in their hands, ready to shave 120 different types of chav haircuts...OR they speak about as much english as my dog. Barbers are bad....

As you're going for a more feminine haircut, you should definitely go to a stylist/uni-sex hairdresser. Try and justify to your mum that spending a little bit more in a salon will be more beneficial for you in the long-run than getting a cheap cut in a barber. Cool

tell me about it .____. the lady there barely payed attention to what I wanted. Still, I was told by ppl that they should've been able to do the same thing, and I NEEDED to fix the half-bowl-thing my fringe was doing.

It's my mum refusing to accept my femininity again, most likely. For one her first question was "do you want it cut short?", and as for sending me to a barbers...
