Frost WoW

So, this was one of those google adds that are in the top of the page when you open it and such...

I was wondering what the heck this thingie is, since it has the same look as the regular WoW but seems as a pirated version of some kind.

It´s named Frost WoW or something.

I'd say it's just a Private Server these people are putting up to avoid paying for the actual game, I guess.

I'll give them A+ for the website though, it looks pretty nice.

This is a private server, set up to mimic the normal game without paying monthly fees. Whilst rping oppourtunities widen in these servers due to GM boundaries like illusions being lifted they are riddled with bugs, glitches and non-functional things e.g vehicles.

Agreed. If it were a keylogger, would it not have "Enter user and Pass below:" on it?

Guessing that you're talking about Epliogue... Well that kinda died from what I can tell. There's a few other RP private servers out there but from what I've heard it's like server-wide Goldshire. Or well, Cathedral Square in Defias' case.

RP private server would suck.

Because you will get bored of

a) RPing with 20 people over and over and over and....

b) Empty world (Even with 1000 roleplayers we have on DB, you have a chance of not getting any IC action for days. needless to say how dire will the situation be on a private server with a hundred people at best.)

The few weeks Epilogue was around were pretty epic.
