The dull void of emptiness echoes through the entirety of my being as I sit in the freezing cold new environment I’ve been placed into, like a dog into a cage. Struck and mistreated, even bitten. The core of my mortality has been shown clearly to me: a shadowy ball that’s slowly being siphoned…

Momentary clarity with the surge of ecstasy is all I am granted before cold hands grasp my bound wrists to bash me back to a spiral of pain. I feel hollow.

Withdrawal.

Mortality, weakness, madness and the lack of meaning: it must be ended. It will be ended. They will bend to my will. They will all kneel before the one who carries order in a swirling vortex of chaos.

They will all growl, yelp and fight over the small pieces that I may occasionally throw their way. And I shall delight in their hunger frenzy, the madness that I know I can instill, that I possess the power over.

Power over lives and their worth…

There must be no other. New paths will be walked, with brandished weaponry, forged through nothing but my desire and the demise of those who oppose.
I have swayed too long under the shadows of others. Ten years have passed, and with those ten years I will not be trampled. No longer shall I sway the way the wind wishes me to, but I shall break off and form my own fate.

A place where only the strongest will exist, where my philosophies decide who is classified as strong or weak, and whether you deserve the blessing of your supreme, which would be me.
There will be no-one left to question my philosophies. No-one left to not heed my words. Nobody who is willing to defy such deafening display of strength shall be left aloft their high horses. They shall all, together with weakness, crumble like sand falling out of my hands.

Others have for long tried to correct my ways: anethionites and cultists alike. Yet it is because of the latter that the former even gathered knowledge about my existence. For ten years I have studied to no avail to fall in the hands of…

It's a little story about the rage of the head of House Finrick. A lady who is zealous about her own ideals. A Lady eager to reap power, wealth and knowledge where ever she finds it. A Lady with a grim past and who has decided to take her fate into her own hands.

Save from a dark-minded Lady, what's so special about this noble household?

We've basically thought things through more thoroughly and decided that we wish to be a tad more unique than how we started initially. Initially we were a cult-esque guild, serving a dark lady and her goals. We actually want to combine the cultist and noble household concepts into one more interesting concept. This would mean that, for example, the butler may be a necromancer. Or some of the guards are studying shadowmancer techniques, or the messenger is a warlock who practises summoning demons. The doctor is a man with a twisted mind who experiences like the infamous Josef Mengele of the WW2, you get the idea.

Basicly we're a noble household cult and try to have a horror theme sticked to it as well.

/who House Finrick isn't working for me?

Our guild is called "Vortex". Initially, Lady Coris Finrick calls her followers her Vortex.

I've heard something about "The Unforgiven". What's this?

An IC alias of Lady Coris Finrick. There is no official and/or legal connection between the two personas.

You have claimed Raven Hill? (Claiming stuff tends to create alot of Drama, no?)

We claimed it ICly. We are open to other organisations who wish to fight us away, through IC means including OOC communication to keep it all as fair as possible. (So we're really in dire need of cultists who want to roleplay guards! Death Knights, warriors, rogues and hunters? Step up!).

What kind of roleplay can I expect precisely?

Our regular random RP would be centered about guard patrols about our area, maintaining Raven Hill and the Lady, teaching eachother about dark arts and of course hopefully a lot of clashes with Stormwind and the Cathedral of Light. Most planned plots and events will however be having a cultist theme. We won't really pay attention to duels between knights etc.

What's the IC status about this House?

It's ICly built just recently and we are sure that when people get to interact more with us that we will be classified as evil/exiled etc. We do NOT use the noble household concept as cover for our dark business. We will simply try to be as discreet as possible about our dark business and try to avert our enemies away from Raven Hill.

Scenario: Defiling a Chapel that had once been blessed by the Anethionites to bring faith to Duskwood.

In the past the Chapter defiled that chapel. We now cleansed it again.

And the graves were turned upside down, the souls damned, the usual. In the end the chapel was turned into a beacon of "power and shadows", to spark some RP between the evil side (lighties) and good side (ourselves).

@ Corly: Braith is roleplaying one of those, but there's of course room for more and cooporation between doctors (or rivalry?) etc. If you ever gain more time/energy that is.

I personally took a Stablemaster spot on my warlock, who maintains the Lady her pets.

Lady Finrick has a variaty of pets ranging from (but not limited to) cats, dogs, birds, horses, undead creatures and demons.

If I didn't have three characters already I'd roll a Draenei girl to be your succubus
