[H]{IC Posters in Thunder Bluff}

A few of the following posters can be seen hanging around Thunder Bluff, the Taurahe pictograms painstakingly painted onto dried animal hides. They read as follows when translated:

"Brothers and sisters of the tauren people! Is it not time to think about our place, not only in the Horde, but in the world as a whole? Hellscream's madness devours the lands. His goblins have torn apart the lands of Azshara. His Warsong clan tears down the ancient trees of Ashenvale needlessly to fuel his furnaces and build his war machines. His commander utterly destroyed a peaceful centre of training for druids in Stonetalon. Has it not always been our way to respect the Earth Mother by taking only what we need? These actions of the Horde pain her greatly, surely.

And what of the night elves, whom we called allies in ages past? Are we to fight them for no reason other than to sate Hellscream's bloodlust? An elder amongst us once said the night elves are blinded by their pride... If that is so, then we are blinded by our misplaced sense of honour! It is true that our people owe the Horde a great debt... But that debt was to Thrall, and to his Horde - a group which only wished to find a place for themselves in the world. We owe Hellscream and his new Horde nothing. He would drag us all down to his level if he could.

There may be little we can do about it for now, but please think about these words. When the time comes and Hellscream's stubborness tears the Horde apart, we too shall have to chose a side. We must chose what is right for our people and the Earth Mother."

*Thalnath walks slowly toward one of the posters after it catches his eye. Once there he folds his arms across his broad chest and begins to read. His brow furrows and he grumbles to himself now and then as he reads the poster to himself. He finally sighs inwardly and shakes his massive head as he finishes, reaching for the poster with a hand and lifting it closer to his aging eyes to look for a name or point of contact before grumbling against when not finding one.*

"Earthmother.. how we all know this."

((While I'd be up for rp on my tauren OOCly, ICly my character felt it was best not to leave any details for the Hellscream loyalists to chase her with! Her name is Kuwanyauma, feel free to drop me a line if I'm on ))

((I will. My character tried a similar thing but was shot down by Hellscream loyalists ICly so it's refreshing to see there are still others with proper Tauren values! We're not lost! ))

((I approve! As said ingame, my nelves are up for cross-faction RP with you ))

(( That'd be nice, some meetings in Ashenvale and Moonglade and such. My Tauren no longer exists OOCly when I left Horde roleplay but I'd be happy to remake him when some time frees up after xmas. ))

Sonitus walks tentatively to the poster, reading it twice as if he cannot believe the content. He turns with a sigh, looking out across the Mesa and the plains below serenely.
Turning back to the poster Sonitus scans the pictographs and the edges of the hide for a name or place of meeting, his chest echoes a grumble of frustration, resettling the ceremonial spear on his back, the young plainstrider tears his whole body from the hide in a sound of sofly clatteriing bones and irritated hoof steps.
((Finally! A way to meet other Tauren, Sonitus will certainly be in thuderbluff today... Perhaps this'll be a nics chance meet other Tauren icly see how they work. ^^))
