Gol'Bolar Quarry: Back to the good old days.

Plans for an upcoming event, a bunch of crooks (A lot!) end up failing in for example, a drug deal. They are captured by the all abiding Law enforcement. As of such they prison is almost too crowded and the prisoners are therefore escorted to Gol'Bolar, where they're stripped and forced to mine it's riches, while avoiding fex: the nasy troggs. After a day or two (depending) the prisoners will tire, and hopefully if enough people join, riot!
Meet in the evenings, scavenge and sneak with us weapons from the day. Though if you lose your pick axe for instance, you might get whipped. So the prisoners will be forced to ask themselves wether it's worth it or not. After scavenging enough and most likely splitting into different groups and planning amongst ourselves the riot would probably break out. Me and Samian have been working on it and we're thinking of three days as the event timer. It might be longer though. The date will probably be the 26th to the 28th. This is just the blueprint of it, and not all the details have been decided. People can come from far and wide as long as they get the essence of it! You get to decide who you'll play as and we'll try to get a bit more crooks than guards, but none too many! As the rage of the prisoners are fuelled, the event will end with a -as said before- full scale riot on different fronts.
As for the event itself, whippings, inner-trading on what you might have smuggled out will of course be a part of it!
We're aiming to make a grand christmas event! Hopefully not colliding with anything else, hope it will work out and a lot of people will sign up!

Contradicting the title! It might actually have to happen in Elwynn or Westfall as well.

The regiment will try to take care of the other end of the prison life. It is important to know that -EVERYONE- is welcome to join on this event. If you RP a crook or a neutral figure, you can get arrested by the regiment on request a day or so before the event and join us on this mini-shawshank-redemption crusade.

If you roleplay a good guy or a neutral figure you are ALSO welcome to join! To help keep order in the mines, to pray for the lost souls. Teachers! Greedy merchants lookign to score some cheap ore? You name it!

This event is not happening till the end of december and this is just a rough layout. But we do have a little timeline planned:

Pre-day 1. Bad guys or rather, the people that want to RP convicts for 3 days will get a chance to get arrested. You can notify the guard in-game or just leave a message here
Day 1. Every prisoner gets handed a mining pick and some clothing. Along with possibly a ball and chain around your ankles depending on your char's size and if it'd make enough sense ICly!
Day 2. Convicts have been getting settled in. There have been cigarette deals, possible shankings of guards. But the overseers do not like that! Punishments and longer work days are imment!
Day 3. The prisoners/convicts/miners cant take any more. After days of plotting they decide its time to make their move, the prisoners riot and manage to escape.

This means every evil figure can come because the breakout WILL happen and you WILL get a chance to escape. The essence of this event is a clear time line and random prisoner RP. While at the same time also pleasing and entertaining the guards/overseers.

Alot of this is still in the works. Location, day, people, almost everything. We decided to bring this up early so we could get some input. Ideas, any form of contribution is very welcomed. There is enough time we're trying to make this happen between christmas and new year (Very far away)

After this are you IC a convict? ie will the guard come after the escaped?

It's still in the making but a good question, depending on how many people that'll actually show up I think the status of the escaped prisoners will change as well! Gotta discuss that further with Sam.

I was thinking of an event that could do with convicts too. will chat to you both in game.

Make it happen in westfall and the district is there..

In order to make the convicts not suffer too much after the actual event. (Or suffer at all) we will not be taking names to hunt afterwards, please do not be worried dear crooks!

Should get somebody who could play snitches aswell, so they can get stitches....

hehe what would fristseni do if she fell in this this would definatly test her caricter alright.. hope they dont take her monacle away.. she is as blind as a bat without that!!! (ps would love to join this event)
