Then again, I drink a lot more coffee than tea nowadays. Overall I'd say they're on a fairly equal standing.

Coffee! I'm From Finland, here people love the coffee.

I literally have 3 large cups of coffee in the morning before i start at work. One when i wake up, second after a smoke. Third when i get to work.

6-8 cups a day. Smile

Tea.

It's told that tea has a weaker effect though last longer. Coffee supposedly bumps you fast but lasts short and after the duration is over you're like a pierced baloon.

But then again, i drink tea mainly for its taste and not for the effect. Though i have low blood-pressure so it helps.
I tend to drink black and green, the fruits one i don't like much. One of my favourite is green tea with cranberry. I usually flavor it with sugar and lemon, ocassionally honey. Recently I've drunk my tea with only sugar.

Coffee i maybe drank one time in my life, or more like tried. However i really like the smell.

Coffee is for the boost, but I also enjoy the taste and trying new brands. I do find tea to be good when I'm ill though so thumbs up there.

A lot depends on the brand but also the mood I'm in. Each different kind of tea and coffee has its place and time.

When it comes to coffee I usually go with dark roast coffee or ones with low bitterness. If available, I usually have a dash of milk in but never if I am to savour it with something sweet like chocolate or a pastry. Also cinnamon flavoured coffee is a favourite around Christmas.
I never drink, unless in dire need of caffeine, instant coffee or the kind find in those vending machines that charges five crowns for a small cup of poor tasting sludge.

Tea is an excellent social beverage and a lot of my friends prefer it. It's lovely to make a pot, put it in a thermos and have something good to sip during the day. I enjoy it for its wide variety but I avoid almost all brands you find in a supermarket, ie. so called tea-bag tea. I go with loose tea that I get from a local store. Favourites include mint, green lime, gingerbread tea for Christmas and lapzang which has a tar-like flavour. I always drink tea as it is, without adding anything to it.

I used to drink coffee when I was 4-6 years old. Haven't touched that stuff ever since. Just the smell of it makes me sick to my stomach.
I have, in fact, thrown up when I was asked to make coffee Very Happy

Tea doesn't taste bad, but it doesn't taste good either. I only drink it if I have to, and with lots of sugar. Otherwise I'd rather just have a glass of cold water... or hot chocolate.
