I miss all these old cartoons!

When cartoon Netwoork came active I didn't have it at my parents as they coulden't afford it! But was a treat when I went to my grandparents and I coudl watch Dexters lab, the Flinstones, tom and Jerry. Animaniax! Dragoon Ball Z! So it was generally channel 1/2 and ITV XD

Could list a few more but these are prob the most memorable... good times!

While I have seen some of the series presented here on and off (primarily the ones shown in the mid to late ninties), I never really followed any of them dutifully (though admittedly, with some I tried). So while there's certainly some nostalgia to them, I think the piece of media that holds the most nostalgia for me is a book.

The first novel I ever read. An old worn thing that already back then was practically falling apart. I was around 9 I think.

10 years old for me. My mum's old copy. I still have it. She read me the Hobbit when I was younger, or tried to, I kept falling asleep. Then she gave me her old Hobbit when I was 9 or something. Then the following year after I wouldn't shut up about it she gave me her Lord of the Rings.

It's possibly the best gift I have ever been given.
