Failing harddrive

hello after months of painful pc hickups and erors.. crashes and failures.. I have managed to pin down what is wrong.. My main HDD is about to fail and could go at any time.. As I am short of cash these days it will be some time still till replaced so if i do suddenly vanish off the face of the earth rest assured its probably ok...

I am working towards the end of securing a new hdd and to try and re install everything without disrupption but may be hard.....

if anyone knows a good source for a 500gig hdd with good speed then please link it

(a donation of an old unused hdd would be nice but i dont expect as i dont know any of you irl realy but i thort i could pop the question anyway)

thats it realy touch wood i should have a new one bwffor my old one gives out *touches wood chip desk*
