Some years ago I participated in a larp where I played an urbanised Vittra, or eh.. some kind of.. wood.. nymphish creature that had gone utterly mad. The guy opposite of me is supposed to be Bäckahästen (The brook horse) who rode little children down into the waters to drown them (mythologicaly speaking of course), who in the larp had become some modernised crazy version as well. I think the.. green on his crotch area is supposed to be seaweed oozing out or .. what..ever.

Anyway! One of the no doubt craziest experiences of my life.

I mainly facepaint at public events. But you always get this one, single weird child who'll come up and instead of asking for that butterfly that every girl's got on, or that tiger all the boys are wearing, it'll ask for something completely unique and complex that takes me over half an hour.

I love that kid.

Faralan refused to let me paint him as a tiger, so I drew a little one one his cheek instead. \o/ I will drug him and give him a proper facepainting one day, then take a photo and post it! Don't tell him.

I think that's a brilliant idea.

I had to be face painted for an event I was leading, three days in a row.
First day I had a little speech bubble painted on,
second day I was a Purple Unicorn
and third I was Pudsey Bear

I would definitely wanna be painted as Forsaken though ^^

One of my favourites was this kid who wanted to be like the Borg from Star Trek. Very Happy

And he sat still for AGES and patiently waited, doing everything he was told so I could get it down without him twitching.

I hate kids who OTT giggle everytime the brush comes near. >.> THANK YOU NOW I HAVE TO START AGAIN, YOU HAVE A HUGE BLACK LINE ACROSS YOUR FACE.

Nightmares about the Borg are amongst the most vivid and terrifying I can remember from childhood >_>.
