Correct, congratulations! Hard Candy is definitely not one of my favorite movies; nonetheless, I did find it incredibly moving and it placed a lot of things in perspective for me.

Oh and as for the clues: the quirky and pregnant teenager who acts in the movie, is of course Ellen Page (people were definitely along the right lines there!). And as for the famous Jewish Asian surgeon, that's Sandra Oh who plays Christina on Grey's Anatomy :).

Yes, it is Bridge to Terabathia. The thing about shattering childhood memories I understand now. Not that it shattered mine, I had never read the book until I was an adult, but my girlfriend at the time the movie came out almost cried when we saw the movie. And not because it is sad (it is, and yes, there may have been an inkling of a tear in my own eye) but because it wasn't what she dreamed...
