[H]Shalla Zaram

The Overview
“Shalla Zaram” is a group of subtle operatives that work together to the benefit of Silvermoon City and the sin'dorei.

Purpose:
Following the original mission of the Farstriders, this group is intended to seek and destroy every potential enemy of Silvermoon and sin'dorei society from all over Azeroth and beyond. The means of succeeding in such a task will be focused on espionage, intelligence gathering, swift stealth attacks or persistent guerrilla attacks.



Activities
The activity of this group will consist of missions that are intended to better the Shalla Zaram individual and to weaken or destroy the enemy. Training missions will be held on a regular basis where the individual can tests their skills against friends and allies as well as beyond enemy lines. We will have an inclusive policy and all levels will be involved in missions as much as possible.



Recruitment:
Those able to operate from the shadows and to blend with their surroundings to enable swift and brutal resolution of conflicts – we consist of sin’dorei Hunters and Rogues and ask for a minimum level of 20 so that they can ride a mount. We are an rp/pvp guild and are willing to take people new to rp and/or pvp as long as they are willing to give it a try. We are not a military guild but we will be organised when we do missions.



Communication
Guild Chat will be IC and an optional OOC channel will be used for the more general chat.

IC - Purpose:

Shalla Zaram is a group of subtle operatives that work together to the benefit of Silvermoon City and the Sin'Dorei. They are not to be considered as being part of the Silvermoon City military force and will operate independently; at need they will call out /offer the support of fellow organizations as long as it is to the benefit of the Sin'Dorei and Shalla Zaram. Following the original mission of the Farstriders, this group is intended to seek and destroy every potential enemy of Silvermoon and Sin'Dorei society from all over Azeroth and beyond. The means of succeeding in such a task will be focused on espionage, intelligence gathering, swift stealth attacks or persistent guerrilla attacks. Due to the small numbers, Shalla Zaram will not single-handed engage in a large scale war, but will rather support the larger military force of Silvermoon with missions beyond enemy lines. In addition, Shalla Zaram will be open to any form of collaboration with factions that will bring profit by accepting missions of any kind as long as they don't interfere with their purpose.



IC - Affiliation to other factions /alliances

Shalla Zaram is not to be considered as part of the Silvermoon Military force. They act and operate independently yet in close collaboration with High Ranger Halduron Brightwing and other organizations loyal to Silvermoon City or with similar interests. Affiliation to the Horde is simply a result of the group dedication to Silvermoon and of Silvermoon's alliances. Horde Allied factions or individuals will be considered friendly as long as they don't interfere in the interests and safety of Silvermoon City or Shalla Zaram. The Alliance is considered enemy because of their traitorous actions and their war against the Horde. Until this war is not decided in the favour of Silvermoon, Shalla Zaram will not hesitate to weaken the Alliance. Other factions will be either considered friendly or enemy depending on how it affects the interests and safety of Silvermoon City and Shalla Zaram, and not based on Horde's decisions.



IC - Activities

The activity of this group will consists in mission that are intended to better the Shalla Zaram individual and weaken/destroy the enemy. Training missions will be held on a regular basis where the individual can tests it's skills against friends and allies. Training missions can also be done beyond enemy lines where weaker targets will be annihilated by putting in practice several strategic concepts, starting from teamwork to divide and conquer.

The members of Shalla Zaram will be influenced and will be recommended to know of himself/herself's roots and of Sin'Dorei society before daring to know the enemy. Other missions will be strictly focused on intelligence gathering, sabotage and assaults against enemy outposts. Such missions will be lead by a single individual at choice and will be done in an organized and disciplined manner in order to assure maximum damage with minimum losses.



IC - The Individual

The individual of Shalla Zaram will be asked to learn to show loyalty, discipline, cool thinking and outstanding character both when fighting and when taking up non-group oriented activities. A high level of self-discipline and self knowledge is required in order for this group to be able to operate efficiently as a single assault corp able to anticipate the enemy move and counterattack any sign of resistance from the target. There is no place for childish behaviour or signs of weakness. The individual will not consider himself elitists, but will surely try to aspire to being better.



OOC - Inner-organization

The group organization is hierarchical where everyone has a rank, purpose, and responsibility. The ranking system has only one leader, officers and several lower ranks. The purpose of such a ranking system is to remove chaos and to enforce structure, to encourage trust in the one standing by your side and in the officers/leader. The leader's purpose is to overlook the correct functioning of the group, to issue orders to the officers, to set up rules and guidelines and to hold regular meeting with officers and lower ranked members. Officers will be assigned a number of lower ranked members and he/she will be made responsible with each of them actions. He is tasked with forming the members, to train them and to carry out the orders of the leader by leading the missions or supporting the leader. Lower ranks have the responsibility to follow orders, to seek out the officers or leader with any problems/ideas they have, to struggle to learn and to work in the benefit of the group and it's purpose. Raising in rank will be decided by officers and the leader based on the trust they hold in the members, his dedication and ability to perform the responsibilities of the rank. Al though Shalla Zaram is not a democracy, group or private meetings will be held regularly where everyone will be given a chance to speak their mind, to come up with his own ideas on how to improve the functioning of Shalla Zaram or to state his/hers dislikes and to find solutions.

Recruitment

IC: Those able to operate from the shadows and to blend with their surroundings to enable swift and brutal resolution of conflicts. No distinction will be made between nobles and common. We are all the same as long as we live and die equally for the same purpose. After joining ShallaZaram, the individual will be tested and observed for an undetermined period of time, after which he will be given the right to wear the tabard openly and consider himself/herself part of this family. If an individual decides to leave the group, there will be no quarrel held against him/her as long as he/she don't become a threat. One marked as enemy will be constantly hunted down and will be, ultimately , killed by any means necessary.

OOC: Hunters and rogues only. All recruits will have an IC interview which will tell them of the guild, assess their rp level (so we can help if needed) and enable them to ask IC questions. New recruits will be set a task suitable for their skills and level, successful completion will enable them to be promoted and to wear the tabard.

I believe that whatever missions are done they will be IC.

This means scouting, wPvP, BG's etc will all be done IC, gives a much more immersive experience to the game.
