"Mok'ra, brothers and sisters of the Horde

For generations, we orcs have kept an ancient tradition alive in the shadow of the sacred mountain, Oshu'gun. When the Horde was formed, this tradition was soon forgotten. With the New Horde formed, and the way back to our homelands open once again, this tradition has been rekindled. Not only to remind us of the older days, long passed, but to show our young ones what it truly means to be an orc.

This tradition, is the Kosh'harg. Time upon time again, orcs have celebrated the joy of the living, as well as the peace of the honourable dead. Though formerly an exclusively orcish celebration, all allies are invited to take part in these festivities. Games, provings, storytelling, rituals and, of course, liquor and food will all be part of the celebrations!

On the eighteenth day of this month, the Red Blade tribe will gather on the docks of Ratchet to make the long voyage through the Dark Portal, and back towards the Land of the Winds. Any who wishes for some company on the long way there, or is unable to make the long trek by him- or herself, is welcome to join our pilgrimage. We will depart from the shores of Kalimdor after the eighth drum has been sounded.

Two days later, on the twentieth day of the third month, the pilgrimage will continue from Garadar towards the sacred mountain of Oshu'gun. There, our festivities will be held proper at the eighth drum. Be it orc or any other ally of the Horde, be welcomed to join us in the celebrations! Beware that all manners of violence are forbidden, and failure to uphold this will result in removal from the site of the festivities!

What? It's a celebration and a festival in honour of times past, when the orcish clans would gather in the shadow of the mountain Oshu'gun and share their diverse culture. Any grudges, vendettas and the likes were then put aside, and remain frowned upon today, since Nagrand is considered to be holy ground to most orcs.

When? This sunday (20/3) at 20:00 is when the official celebrations begin. There'll be an event on friday (18/3) however where Orcs of the Red blade and any others willing to come will begin their march towards the Dark Portal and Nagrand itself. We gather in Ratchet at 20:00.

Who can come? All orcs are invited, as well as their allies. Before the corruption and subsequent wars even draenei were seen participating. Should any of those appear these days it's hard to tell what would happen. The no-violence rule remains a sacred one, especially on this day.

Anyway, the undirect question was, how would you react to goblins being there?

Why would they be there? Out of curiosity, thinking it was an event one could make money in, seeking approvance from the Horde?...

As for the question about goblins, I think they'd be very welcome as allies to the Horde. Any profiteering wouldn't be definitely frowned upon, as long as there's no blatant disrespect.

A big, big thank you to everyone that showed up. I had a lot of fun and it was really encouraging and nice to see such a big turn-out for the event.

Disclaimer: No draenei were hurt during the Kosh'harg. Not a lot, anyway!

I took Arli along on Friday, slipping along through the shadows with the occasional emote of snapped twigs and a couple of sappings/stuns of the Alliance that turned up in Duskwood!

Although I was there IC, my main reason was to get a feel for the orc rp, I've never rp'd with orcs who rp as orcs (if that makes sense) prior to Defias and it was enjoyable to watch and listen in. I got called away as they continued from Thrallmar, but yeah, a nice walk with some excellent rp to listen/watch. Shame I was otherwise occupied last night.
